Hey everyone!

I am from India and the CIC received my application on 18th June 2014 for FSW code 1123! Haven't heard anything from them since then! When do you suggest we will be able to receive a notification from them?

Anyone else from India here?

A lot of people are from India here (although they may be residing outside India)

You should have your payment charged anywhere within the 3rd week of October as per the Charge date estimates.

Completely confused!!! Don't know what to do...Please some experts out here advice me what choice can be chosen.

I intend to send my complete application (w/o police verification) by 6th or 7th October for FSW'14 Computer Engineer NOC. Now, as with every week going by i see a minimum 50 increase in count in NOC's total count which is 392 by 26 Sep. If this follows on the cap is going to reach in 12 weeks (2-3 months). So as i predict from previous results, an app. takes minimum 3 months to get DD en-cashed. With me sending my app by 6/7 October, i see myself at risk of not getting selecting in the first round of application(ie DD en-cash)

My questions:
1) Should i send my application?(by 6/7 October)
2) Will i be en-cashed in time? (which is i think till 31 Dec'14)
3) Will my app be evaluated after Dec 31 2014? Will they consider my app or send me back that app?
4) Should i wait for new Express Entry in 2015 and apply in that?

1: yes, you have nothing to lose except courier fees
2: yes, if you will be in cap ( I wish you luck)
3:yes, fsw2014 open till April 2015
4:nobody is sure about new rules in express entry, better try right now

Hi dhillonpk, I am afraid that u can't send ielts later, U have to send ielts along with ur documents, CIC will not going to accept the ielts if u send later they only accept ielts which u send with the documents.

Dear friends,
Request you to please let me know if below mistake could lead to rejection of my application.

I will turn 35 this December and have applied for NOC 2173 in the last week of June.

In the Schedule A/ Background declaration form, section 8 asks "Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years whichever is most recent. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing."

I have changed 6 companies so far and had 2-3 gaps between change of employment. As the space provided under section 8 was less, the consultant I hired asked me to provide all details since age 18 in a supplementary word appendix which I did.

I worked for 1.5 months in a large NASCOM registered BPO in India from Feb to April 2004.
I was searching for IT jobs while I was working here and was off work for a week to attend interviews without applying for leave.
When my employer came to know about this, they terminated my employment as they saw that any investment in training me was wasteful.
I was young and stupid and should have had a formal exit from the company via submitting a resignation.

I was training in IT during this 1.5 months which I mentioned in the word appendix but I missed mentioning about the employment tenure of 1.5 months as I did not have any document or service certificate for this employment tenure.

I have been working since 2001 and barring above 1.5 months of work experience, I have mentioned everything else in the background form since age 18 and have attached supporting documents.

Meanwhile, I approached the said employer and managed to get a service certificate 2 months ago which says the reason for ending of employment as termination.

Am really tensed and worrying about the possibility of my application being rejected.

Should I send my service certificate along with an explanation to CIC now and request for inclusion of these new documents to my application package?

Seniors please pleaaaaaaaaaaaase help. Am losing my mind and feel like kicking myself for the mistake.

Once you get PER and your application is transferred to your local Visa Office. you can intimate them of your life changing events.

Make sure your SMS services are activated on your cc charges /decline
Talk to your bank ASAP and notify them you are expecting cic fsw charge in near future and please don't reject that

Lot of the members faced this problem. Cc companies declining fsw charge by thinking that's fraudulent charge

I don't see any issues if you have mentioned it as you were in training during those 1.5 months. Since you are not claiming any points for that period should not be a problem.

I am assuming your NOC Code is 2173.

The FSW Spreadsheet 'estimates' that the CAP was filled on Sep 19th 2014.

1 - whether you should be sending your application or not rests on you. However, going by the 'predictions' it looks like this CAP has a very low probability for applicants who wish to apply starting the month of October. So the question you need to ask yourself is - what do you have to loose if you did apply now ?

2 - Everybody is almost en-cashed in time (mathematically) with a little exceptions here and there. This would obviously depend whether the CAP is still open by the time your application is picked from the queue.

3 - I am not sure what you mean by this question but if you are referring to the FSW program itself, then it will be open until April end 2015.

4 - Go back to the 1st point. This is again a subjective question.

Hi,

I have applied for FSW 2014 and the application was recived by CIO on June 18 , Below are some of my quieries.

1.What are the Differnent stages in FSW process? and under which all stages money is required. Also what is the average time duration in each of this stages.
2.How will one know whether the DD is encashed , do we get a email from CIO about it?
3.Also can you tell me under which NOC will the Software tester (QA - Manual/automation/Performance) fall , would NOC 2171 fit?
Also i Have 7+ experience in QA with Master's degree in Computer Science
