My Job Title is Software Programmer, so in the above question's Answer do I need to Write "Software Programmer" as profession and specialization? Huh?
Specialization is not related to your job title it depends on your qualifications. Many people opt for MBA or MCA after getting some experience in IT field. I am not sure what qualifications do you hold? I did BSc Computer Sciences, then MCS (Computer Sciences & then MSc Project Management).

You are mixing it with another question. What they are asking is "why did you not have to serve in any armed force?". A simple answer to that can be as follows:
1 - In some countries you by law have to join armed forces: if country in which you are living is one of them, and if you were not part of armed force then I am not sure what to write but,
2- If in your country it is not mandatory then Just mention the reason that in your country there is no such law that you have to be part of armed forces in other words it is up to every individual whether they want to join armed forces or not.

Option 2 is applies to me.

My application reached on June 04 , ECAS is showing in process, as my CC got charged on Sep 22 but no PER yet. I found June 06 applicants also getting PER. what does this indicate??

I am also with same situation.

I guess, they take more time to verify our previous records in Canada, this is just a guess ! Seniors can help us.

Only one mistake I can think of in my application, when I travelled last time my work permit was under 2171 and now I applied under 2173, any thoughts from seniors.

No worries. PCC is not a mandatory doc to be sent with initial application (though it needs to be necessarily provided later after PER). So your file will be accepted.
Your Bank DD my be banked by Dec 2014 end or first week of January 2015.

Dears .. Along with the original ECA report, do we need to send a copy of the bachelor certificate or do we need to send the original bachelor certificate ?

you need to send Only photocopies of all certificates and all degrees............ You can get them attested from notary if you want to......... otherewise, no nned to..

I'm applying for 0111 and my application is due mid November, cannot apply before that as I have my IELTS exam on Oct 18th and ECA in process.

My question is, will i be able to make it to cap for 0111 (132)???? if I apply by November?

Hello Members,

I am a May 22nd applicant and my application was filed under 2 NOCs 2173/2174. I haven't yet received my PER and since I had used draft as the govt fee I have no way to confirm if they fee is encashed.

Are applications filed with multiple NOCs getting rejected this year?

Help please! CIC tried to charge my CC yesterday (Sept. 30th) and my bank blocked the charge. Will they try to charge it again? I've told my bank to allow the charge to go thru.
