Hi,

I recently applied for FSWP under NOC 2174. I received confirmation of delivery of my application in Sydney, NS on Wednesday last week. Right now my NOC category stands at 718/1000 (according to CIC website) and I was wondering what this number means. Does it stand for applications already processed or just for applications received but not necessarily processed yet?

I guess what I really want to know is if an application counts toward the NOC sub-cap as soon as it's received in Sydney or when it has been processed/approved.

Thanks for your help

Hi Guys,

A repeated question but its really baffling me again and again. I have my PSK appointment tomorrow for the PCC. I called up consultant just to ask for the list of documents to take (just to make sure I dont miss any). He tells me now that PCC from PSK wont work and I need to get PCC from local police station of every city I have stayed in India (in my case, its 3 different Indian cities), so that they can verify it properly. If in case I go with the PSK PCC, it will be at my risk. Although, I have read so many times on the forum that there is one PCC per country, but still the guys is confusing me more and more, I am getting a bit tensed too.

Please help !!

PCC from PSK is perfectly ok. Go to the PSK and get a single PCC for your current address.

Your consultant is ill informed.

Hi Guys,

Can the seniors help me out with the RPRF fees. In the CIC website it is mentioned 490 CAD/ 26700 INR for Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner). Now I am confused whether 26,700 is for spouse/primary applicant both or it is 26700 each ie total of 53,400.

Thanks

26700 each for adult and NIL for minor.

Only when it has been processed, not when received. Sorry to say this but you won't be in the cap. Try looking others categories to see if you can apply in any of them or just wait until Express Entry opens in January.

My CC charged on 22 Sep but, still no PER. ANy body whose CC was charged on 20th/22nd Sep. and got PER. Please share.

2174 is very hot NOC and would have filled up by now. 'Now' designates applications received until mid of June or so but not surely in July. Unfortunately, you have to look for an alternate option by sending another packet for a different NOC like 2172 or 2281 if your roles and responsibilities are matching with alternate NOC's.

Hello,

I am 6th June Applicant for 2174.
Payment method : Money Order issued by Bank of Montreal Canada

Is there any way to check if payment has been charged?

Hello aha,

Though you are waiting for the fbi report, there is anither option which might be quicker.

CIC allows pcc from fbi approved channelers. You can google it. I will try to gind it for you.

Also, if yoy lived in a particular state for the whole period of stay, try exploring the option of getting pcc from the state police department. It should work just as fine.

Concurrently, continue fo,liwing up with fbi, and explore the option of getting yoyr report delivered somewhere in usa from where it can be couriered ti India.

Just wrote all the above frommy experience of obtaining fbi pcc.

Cheers and good luck :-):-):-)

Hi Guys.. I am not sure whats going on at FBI processing time ... Now they have just updated that it will take 12 weeks from receiving date..

On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As a result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time anticipated processing time for an Identity History Summary is approximately 12 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery.

Till yesterday it was 8 to 10 weeks... When my application reached it was just 30 days and 30 days has already passed for me... As per my MR email I need to submit the PCC by 3rd November.. My application was received at FBI on 26th August..Now 12 weeks from that will be around 20th November... Don't know if they will increase the number of weeks again... Please advise..

You need to provide all documentation stated in the document checklist and on that form IMM5604E stated as required to bring a child with a non-accompanying parent.

So proof of full custody even if i have IMM 56054E?
