Though you are waiting for the fbi report, there is anither option which might be quicker.

CIC allows pcc from fbi approved channelers. You can google it. I will try to gind it for you.

Also, if yoy lived in a particular state for the whole period of stay, try exploring the option of getting pcc from the state police department. It should work just as fine.

Concurrently, continue fo,liwing up with fbi, and explore the option of getting yoyr report delivered somewhere in usa from where it can be couriered ti India.

Just wrote all the above frommy experience of obtaining fbi pcc.

hi Seniors,

I have my VO as New Delhi and I need to update my new passport details and Son's new passport for further processing, I received my PER mail on 15th Sep.
But as already experienced NDVO is not providing AOR and File transferred status then do i need to contact them now or wait till they contact me.

Though I sent my new passport details 2 weeks earlier before my CC charged.

Please advise.

Thanks for the reply. I have a BsC in Computer Sciences and, in addition to my programming experience, my work letter also indicates experience in Database designing and management so I think I would also fall under NOC 2172. As a matter of fact I didn't apply for 2172 due to the low number of applications received in this category (I thought it would be harder to be accepted or something)

My application is already sent, would I need to wait until it is returned to re-apply? Do you have any idea how long until they send it back.

Less applications doesn't mean that you'll have stringent filtering process. If you application has strong proof of evidence like JD then everything would be piece of cake. There are also other factors involved but JD outweighs everything. I'd rather suggest you to prepare another packet and send it asap to be within the CAP for 2172.

In SCHEDULE 3 , one of my experience periods is less then one year, and when filling the years of experience I can only check one year not less !!!
Does it mean they will not consider or calculate experience period less than one year ?

Hi All,
I just checked in my birth certificate that the name of father has been misspelled. In all my other documents his name is DIWAKAR but in my birth certificate its DEWAKAR. To get this corrected it will take 2 weeks, should i just send it the way it is or should i get it rectified.

Guys, I have Given up hope now,

Medicals/RPRF Fee/PCC submitted 07/23/2014 reached 07/25/14
No ECAS Update to reflect medicals received.
Medicals were ok and re-confirmed with the doctor.
Emailed CPP Ottawa requesting confirmation of received documents, no response over 25 days.

No Idea what should I do, Its been over two months since submission of documents. Any advice?

There is no need to give up...your medical,rprf nd pcc has been submitted... Think about those mates who have not get info regarding payment charge...
At this stage you should feel relax ...

I have sent DD (ICICI BANK) of $490 for RPRF to NDVO. Now I want to cross check that NDVO has received DD.

How can I do that?? Should I call ICICI Bank or Can I call NDVO. ??


Is there any email, of NDVO, on which I can send my query ??

After you get AOR email from NDVO, raise CSE and provide the info, also attach scanned copies of new passports.

Hi Guys,

Today my CC is charged. I am 10th Jun applicant. NOC - 2174.

I feel so happy today. Actually my application was supposed to reach on 27th May. But then I identified few mistakes in my form. So with help of my sister and brother in law, I rerouted to their canadian address. Without them and your help, it was difficult to make it today. I will update my entry in SS soon.
