yup buddy it was my day..
if your present address is same as that in the passport then only the original passport and a self attested copy is enough. if there is any change in the address, then carry some address proof.always safe to carry couple of them(voter id, aadhaar, 1yr bank statement)

This is 100% BS. CIC employees identities are classified. Besides, they don't do verification themselves.

Do we have to update NDVO if we left the job for personal reasons. Or they will come to know from the employer at the time of verification.....

Bro its EPF which can be withdrawn after u leave job. Dont get confused EPF With PPF. PPF has lockin period.

I know i wrote PPF instead of EPF and i have also cleared about PPF in my previous posts.

I am currently filling the FSW application. Do we need to send in police certificates with it or can they be sent later? The website says they can be sent afterwards but the CIC person on the phone said send it with the package. Confused! Plus theres no time to wait for the certificates :S

You can send it at later time as well... Many people including me are getting the PCC done after sending the app... Read the checklist for validity period...

Dear how can an officer know that this is your profile and i don't think that immigration officer can openly add anyone in his profile. If they want to inquire about someone they may use third party, Phone verification or physical verification is possible. I don't think and VO is authorized to tell someone that look i am taking care of your case. May be someone know to you is playing a prank...

U can just sent a CSE to NDVO.....

Except for my wife and this forum no one is aware that I have applied for the immigration. Frankly I don't this it is a PRANK by someone I know. How does an officer know my LinkedIn profile is not a rocket science you give them all details from your birth, so its not hard to even figure that out.

I have added the person and have sent him the following message:

What makes it exponentially strange, is the hint that this is a CIO employee and not a VO officer, because CIO doesn't do background checks AT ALL.

I don't know which is right and which is wrong- but we should get the prevailing law/rules.

For example, in my company, Employee part can be withdrawn anytime by either 1 month notice to cease PF or at the time of leaving. For Employer portion, 50% can be received after 3 years of completion of job, 75% after 4 years, and 100% after 5 years.

So, actually there is no right and wrong answer. It depends on the policy manual. ;D ;D
