Hi Guys,

We are only in the forum who are in altogether in different kind of dilemma. Its sheer unluck for those who used older form and sent it to CIC on 17th and 18th.

What to do now?

In my opinion, they might have some window period. only beyond that period, they will stop considering the applications. How come they refuse applications reached on 19th and 20th which were posted on 17th, and 18th....?

Hello Folks, Hope you are in good health.

I have a query regarding my work experience. Please spare some of your time and reply accordingly.

1 - During my Job I started my education (Part Time) and using this education for ECA and claiming points. Is this overlapping duration will be counted towards total work experience. There is not where written that this degree is a part time.

2 - I started my career as an apprenticeship, later, I continued as a permanent employee for the same. There is word Stipend instead of salary used by the employer for my apprenticeship tenure. Is this apprenticeship tenure counted as normal full time paid experience?
Note: I worked 42Hrs/week during apprenticeship and that was on job training.

So, the Pessimistic Estimate for NOC 2171 has turned to "Cap Full" today !!! I am trying not be pessimistic, but my application is reaching CIC tomorrow... so here's all the positivity toward the process and hoping the pessimistic approach is really wrong!

BTW, is there any downloadable copy of the spreadsheet? I would like to run a few analysis of my own to come up with some calming data points and dates. Will appreciate the link / downloadable copy in the inbox. Thank you and all the best to all!

I sent old Generic form signed on June 14 and dispatched on afternoon of June 18 which was received by CIC on June 23.

The form was changed on June 17 i.e. night of June 18 in india i guess....

Plz advice, should i send a new generic form to replace the earlier generic form..........

For the medical request - blood tests, do they do liver function checking? I have elevated levels of GGT so I am not sure if that will be an issue? All others are okay.

"IMEI_Hepatitis/Liver Disease" suggests they check for ALT, only if they suspect Hep B, C positive patient. Nonetheless, I would suggest to go to a gastro and get relevant medications to bring it under control ASAP. It usually returns to normal within 10-15 days, if: 1) you remove the underlying cause, i.e. Hepatotoxins such as certain prescription drugs and/or alcohol; and 2) take Milk Thistle/Liv 52 to remove liver toxins.

And lastly, warm lemon water on empty stomach first thing in the morning works great to remove liver toxins. Start all of above simultaneously and you would be good within 2 weeks.

I friend of mine is suffering from joundice and have medical date coming is there any problem if the applicant is suffering from joundice?

It would be a problem to get medicals done while your friend is sick. From application and medical clearance perspective, you need to get the sickness cured before medicals can be done. Be prepared for additional Liver related tests from panel physician (usually Hep B and C tests)

4. You can see " FSW Global Spreadsheet" in the recent list. check(tick) the checkbox next to it.
5. Once you check(tick) the check box, a new button will be visible called More.

I had sent my application on 4th September and my company just mentioned that I worked full time with them rather than mentioning the no.of hours worked. I felt that the mention of "full time" should be self explanatory to CIC and did not bother to add any additional supporting to support the mention of "full time".

I am now freaked out as I read somewhere that no.of hours is mandatory. What do I do now. Can I send another letter stating my no.of hours?

It was received on 4th Sept so I assume there is some time left for them to review the application in its entirety.

1. This is not an issue..If WES evaluate this degree, then no issue again....

2. Since this is paid employment .....acceptable for claiming points ....
