Hi guys,

I am 12th May applicant, I received my PER on 25th/Aug. My question is about my expired passport.
The passport I used to apply has expired and I renewed it. I already include a cover letter
when I applied and mentioned that I will provide CIC with my new details since I was in the process of
renewing my passport.
Shall I send an update to CIC or my Visa Office(LVO) and how (post/email)?
Is it better to update them Or just leave it until they ask for my new details?

Your help is very appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

After PER your point of contact is local visa office
Post them bio pages of your new passport without wasting any time futher.

All the best

i can see in the spreadsheet a CC charged on June 6, with two few charged on June 3 and 4, and absolutely zero on June 5. This means one of two options, either CIC are becoming selective rather than first in first served, or more likely that people are not updating the spreadsheet.

Friends,

I have started filling Immigration forms & require your help. Although I am following guidelines while filling form, there are certain things confusing and unclear. Today's query is regarding Generic form.

Generic Form - IMM0008ENU_2D

Point-4 : Immigration Office – I am in Chandigarh. So Do I need to mention New Delhi or what ?

Point- 9: Citizenship – There are two fields. I put India in first, but the second one is not getting grayed out. I am not a citizen of any other country. This field will remain blank (but active). Is it ok ?

Point-5 under Contact Information: Fax No. – Option given as tick box. I don't have any fax number. So this box remains unticked and unattended. Is it ok ?

Point -1 under Education/Occupation Detail : Highest level of education – I am B.Com and certified Management Accountant. There are three options-Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate – No Degree, Master's degree. How should I treat CMA degree which is my highest level of education ?

This has been answered earlier as well.
Point 4 : Immigration office : New Delhi Visa Office
Point 9 : Let it remain blank. ignore. Else write NA.
Point-5 under Contact Information: Fax No : Leave unticked.
Point -1 under Education/Occupation Detail : Highest level of education : Bachelors degree (Not sure though. You will need to check this with others )

I AM NOT SURE ON THIS - BUT MY PICK WOULD BE POST GRADUATE - NO DEGREE OR BACHELOR'S BUT NOT MASTERS. ANYWAY - YOUR ECA IS WHAT CIC WILL PAY ATTENTION TO.

Thank you and sorry I missed if it was replied earlier...

Regarding Immigration office... As I am living in Chandigarh.... and Canada has visa center in Chandigarh (I hope I am right, just checked online), even then we need to mentioned Delhi office in the form ?
