Guys in my opinion, we have seen the case of rejection where marksheets were not sent and application is rejected... So all the guys who are planning to send the application, pelase include ECA original, notarized copy of marksheets and degree [again no point of debating why to notarize, its good to do that..no harm in that] ...

All the guys who have alreday sent the application and have not included marksheets, please send the additional package. This is worth doing...we can't loose the chance just on debating or anticipating that CIC has not mentioned SHOULD or MAY include supporting docs.

Hi im from Bangladesh. im on the verge of submitting my application but have got stuck in one issue. My national id card have my birth date wrong. i went to fix it but they have told me to contact next month as they will be fixing it then. Now i cant wait 1 month. any suggestion on what can i do?

Thanks.

What is your NOC code ? If not hot, suggest fix and send. Explore is there any other NOC that you can apply as based on your experience in the last 10 years. Hopefully you find something suitable of the 40 NOCs that are not HOT matching your experience of atleast 1 year...All the best!

Sorry to say Rahul, but application without mark sheet will definitely get rejected. It is required to send Higher degree along with mark sheets.

Thanx

Hi,
Is it mandatory to provide all mark sheets along with Original ECA report + Degree certificate ? Will this lead to rejection. I have attached only ECA report and B.Tech Degree certificate. Anyone got PER without Marklists ?
Thanks
Arun
Hi Arun it is mandatory to send the copies of all as mentioned below for which you have made your wes validated (refer point 13 of checklist which says it is mandatory)
1) Mark sheets of all years and semesters
2) Degree
3) Consolidate

It is always good to include 10th and 10+2 or any other mark sheets copies.

I think I may be not correct but vande mataram had similar problem and his file was returned. Please refer to his post

Permanent Residence

We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.

In this mean I am on d way of getting PER ?

There is a new terminology going around by the name of "Trust Lists".

This is in relation to the Credit Card applicants and their payment authorization and/or pre-approval for CIC against their respective Card issuing Banks.

I am a CC applicant as well. I would like to copy the response received from the Customer Care dept. following a Service request raised via the online banking portal for CITIBANK:

Dear Mr. XXX, We refer to your query dated September 19, 2014. We wish to inform that we do not find any recent transaction of 550 CAD at M/s.Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada approved in your card account. However, the mentioned transaction will be approved in your card account, if the card is in active status and there is available credit limit in your card account at the time of the transaction. As on date your card has an available credit limit of Rs. xxx,xxx.00. Further, your card ending XXXX can be used for international transactions with the available credit limit in your card account. The credit limit is the same for International and domestic transactions. For any further clarification, please write to us. We will be glad to assist you. Assuring you of our best services at all times. Sincerely, ABCD, Manager - Customer Care. P.S. For any further assistance, please feel free to contact our 24x7 CitiPhone banking division at the following numbers: Mumbai: 022 2823 2265, Gurgaon: 0124 254 2265, Chennai: 044 2852 2484, Bangalore: 080 2227 2265, Kolkata: 033 2283 2484 Please visit the following link to know all our CitiPhone numbers: https://www.online.citibank.co.in/customerservice/citiphone.htm

By no means am i trying to imply that my case is 'universal' and that it would apply to every other individual. BUT - I have never come across "Trust Lists" in the past and would appreciate if someone could point to the source (of the Banking portal, maybe) where such a terminology is clearly explained. Again, this could very well be a case with one bank and not the other, so not negating that probability.

Also, I cannot reaffirm to what the Bank has 'advised' at the moment until the transaction actually happens. Until then, I can only trust that they know what they are talking about.

I have also received the OTP Email from CITIBANK as have many other applicants. I would like to point out that CIC is not affected by this change as they never have been affected by OTP enabled CHIP Cards in the past where they have carried out successful transactions.

My DD is expiring this month. I am 4th July applicant. Is there any problem. Is there any case were DD was not encashed due to validity expiry.

Is there any way to extend the validity period from the bank.

Thanks in advanve

Which Bank DD was used, If nothing was mentioned on DD...It is valid for six months by default (Applicable for international DD)
