I received my application back today after a very long wait. My application was received at CIO on the 20th of May 2014.

However,the rejection was as a result from an "Error" from the staff at CIO. It reads " You did not provide us with a copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA Report) " even though I duly included my B.sc Certificate (copy) in my application. It was even enclosed in the package returned to me by CIO. So, how come they did not see it over there?

Why would CIO no take their time to go through applicants' package before just returning them?

I intend to send another application as soon as possible, but not without proving a point to CIO about their unnecessary error at least. Or what do you advise?

Hello brother..sorry to hear that you were not at fault..and still you were unlucky. Just to confirm, did you ALL Marksheet photocopies, Degree Certifcante copies and details as in ECA or only B.Sc certificate? Curious to know here. Wish you all the best!

Keep the photocopy of registry document. It mentions the payment Dd or cheque number and it could be matched with your account number.... dont worry

Hi im from Bangladesh. im on the verge of submitting my application but have got stuck in one issue. My national id card have my birth date wrong. i went to fix it but they have told me to contact next month as they will be fixing it then. Now i cant wait 1 month. any suggestion on what can i do?

Hi Folks,

I am 24th June application and expecting my CC to be charge in another 20-25 days.

I have given axis bank CC details, and confirmed with bank that my international credit limit is same as my inr(conversion) i..e 40k.

Could you please confirm if Axis has put CITIZENSHIP& IMM FS in there trust list..... and there is nothing to worry.

If the payment is made by cheque it needs to be mentioned in the registry but if it was cash payment there is no scope for that, it depends on person to person which terms of payment they put in the contract.

Yes registry contain the total deal amount with mode of payment. Get money through Demand Draft on your name....

My DD is expiring this month. I am 4th July applicant. Is there any problem. Is there any case were DD was not encashed due to validity expiry.

Is there any way to extend the validity period from the bank.

Re: Payment through combination of two ways.

Respected Sir,
I just got stuck while filling form no IMM 5620 i.e Fee Payment Form.
As i am using two methods for payments. half of payment via DD and another half of payment through Credit Card.Now i am going to do payment of DD from my wife's account and credit card payment from mine. Now the question is how could i fill the forms Section A and Section B. Should i give detail of my Wife name in Section A and mine in Section B.

That is right, your wife name in DD section, as she is the payer. In section B it is your details...and don't forget to sign in ths section! All the best!
