now if i plan 2 apply 4 fsw .. do i need 2 go for my documnts assessmnt first? thats wot the cic off website says.. is it mandatory?

You could have just said , you increased your international limit to 1,00,000

Cash limit 40,000 and POS 1 lakh .. Little confusing

there are two limit atm limit is for cash withdrawal and pos in for online shopping etc........

CanOl, the point is that, I applied ONLY for single NOC (0013). That's why I ask whether they will consider the non-relevant work experience or not.

As I have mentioned, THEY WILL CONSIDER, subject to correct and complete employment ref letters being submitted for your 6+ years of work ex in the other NOC .

I think if advance payment is done to the credit card, the limit will automatically increase, so in order to avoid a risk of transaction fail, advance payment can be done to the card.

Hi all,

I dont have surname in my passport, and as per CIC help desk FAQ's answer,in the surname filed of generic app form (IMM0008) i wrote my given name as mentioned in the passport, and mentioned 'not applicable" in given name field. However, at the top of each page of the form the applicant name is shown as Muddasir Ahmed,N. Why is there an addition of ,N . Is this because i dont have any surname. Is it an issue??

It's because it's considered NA as your name. Keep given name field blank.

Just now called Citibank and inquired about status of DD.

Happy to report here that my DD was encashed on 16-Sep.

Application reached: 28-May
NOC 2131

Had called my bank on 17-Sep. It took 3 days for them to check the status of DD.

Now waiting for the golden e-mail.

Admins.. I am writing this post after updating the spreadsheet.

Experts, please guide on this...

Take reference letter from ex boss.. also ask him to mention about the company shutdown in detail in the letter. Make sure in this case provide as much supporting docs of employment as possible like contract doc payslips...any mail about company shutting down from senior management ... Even web screenshot detailing the same..

Yes you will need to get education credential assessment from one of the organization authorized by CIC. Its a mandatory document for FSW selection and they will give you points for education depending on the summary of assessment report.

Also, you need to have at least 6 band in each module of ielts i.e. listening, speaking, writing, reading to be eligible. Points awarded by cic will be given as per the score in each module and not the overall band.
