Hi,

Any senior person in this forum please guide:

I wanted to ask you about PCC from Mumbai. Can anyone please paste the subject matter of PCC obtained from Mumbai?

Do they mention on PCC -- since when you are staying at the current location? This I am asking because I am staying at my current location since last 7 years in Mumbai. Before that, I was staying in a different suburb of Mumbai.

If they mention the period of current stay, then in that case, do I require PCC from two different police stations in Mumbai?

If they don't mention period of stay at the current location, then my question does not arise at all.

Rgds,
Satyakam

Hii all,

My residency permit is under process here in saudi arabia, it will take more two months till i get it. Usually it takes under three months to get it, however due to some reasons it is getting delayed. My company gave me a letter that my case is under process and they also provided me with a letter from Ministry of internal affairs saudi arabia stating the same. In current residence status what shall i select. Shall i select "resident", and attach all these letters as proof or shall i select "other" and write in the next column as "awaiting residency permit". In any case i am thinking to attach all the letters provided by my company as well as the ministry. If i select "resident" than i will not be able to write from and to dates in the form. Any suggestions please.

Thanks and Best regards.

Senior,
Please need your advice here. My self-assessment right now is 67 points and I am going to send my application this week as soon as I received my IELTS hardcopy. My concern is that next year February 2015 my points will decrease to 66 points due to my age. Do the points locked-in on submission date or they will calculate points on the date they will read the application?

Attach the following

1. Translate this letter to English if it is in Arabic (It will be stating that your work permit is under process)
2. Attach the Saudi Visa page
3. Attach the Entry page (first time Entry stamp into Saudi Arabia)
4. Attach your contract copy ( stating your joining date)

This will help

Dear All,

I am 12th June Applicant. My initial sent application was complete with all respect. Experience letter attached with the application fullfill all check list requirement. (so these is a good chance it will pass through the intial screening)

However, i felt to more eleborate my job descriptions. So i got new experience letters with detailed JD. i sent those additional document and those were received on Sep 19 by CIC. Is this ok. will they consider these new documents for PER.

PCC from Passport office in MUMBAI :

POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
It is certified that there is no adverse information against Mr ABC, s/o Mr XYZ, holder of Indian passport no. 12345, issued at place PQR, on xx/yy/20zz, which would render him or her ineligible for grant of travel facilities including visa for CANADA.

Others can chime in, But i don;t think they put length of stay on letter. You only need one letter per country you have lived in. so only one letter from your current police station. no need for 2 letters.

Hi All,

I found this useful info from this link http://immigrationcanada.pro/immigration-rules/skilled-workers/

Guys who failed to put their Job roles and responsibilities, can place their all appraisal documents as said in the below paragraph

Presenting Your Work Experience

You will need evidence of your work experience as part of your application.

Items such as income tax returns or income tax receipts on their own will not be acceptable.

Ideally, you should provide letters of reference from your current and past employers. These letters should be on company letterhead and signed by the appropriate individual. The letters must include your period of employment, positions held, duties, salary, hours of work, and a business card of the person signing.

If you can not provide all of the above, you must include an explanation in your application why not. If you do not have (or can not get letters of reference), the next best thing would be to provide old contracts of employment with your employers, or old performance appraisals, etc.

If you can not provide any of the above, your application may be in jeopardy. If you can find an old supervisor or even work mate, he or she could swear an affidavit on the above details of your employment to help support your application, along with your own explanation and description.

At this point, you will have to get creative about documenting your work experience. Are there any third-party publicly available documents about you on the web you can point to? Any news articles? Association newsletters?

You will need to find anything you can to support your work experience claim and accept that CIC may or may not accept it depending on the circumstances.

Thanks CanOI and bakshivishal,

Thank you very much for your guidance. It relieved so many questions from my mind. Just yesterday obtained local police station's report which says that the person is staying at the current residence since last 7 years, therefore this question arised in my mind.

Thank you very much.
