Dear all,

My credit card account has been charged and I have one question:

I have been staying in France for almost 3 weeks and will be here until 2016. Need I send the status of my residency to CIC and which form used to update this?

Thanks for your sincere advices!

Congratulations!

What I suggest is wait for your PER. Then use your UCI and use the case-specific enquiry form to send a message updating your info.

Good to see speedy CIC

Thanks Century! but the passport copies that I sent CIC does not have anything regarding my recent travel, so was skeptical. Thanks agn! :) :) :)

I don't think you need to inform this. It is not a major change.

Do I have to send experience letters from my previous jobs?, but in such jobs my JD's do not match NOC JD's.

If your duties match the description in NOC 0113 you can apply regardless of what happened with your former application.

Be aware that as a self-employed person there are specific instructions for proving your duties; follow them closely.

Can you please throw some light on the specific requirements for the self employed persons? can you share the link for such, I just can't recall that I saw it on CIC site.

Thanks in advance.

Ahmed

Tatra14,

my understanding, as far as you have at least one yr of full time exp in one of the listed NOCs(with atleast one reference letter with all the required details), its is okay if the JDs of other reference letters of your previous jobs dont match with the NOC JDs. But you still have to send all the reference letters.

Thanks!

All the information relevant to your case will be rendered to your lawyer. If he's a good one, he'll keep you informed in a timely manner.

IndoCan2014,

Electronic communication will be done to the email id you have provided in generic application form.

So do they calculate the relevant experience to the specific NOC the applicant applied for? I mean for example if I have 3 years of experience as NOC xxxx and 3 years of experience under NOC yyyy, how many years should I calculate if I apply for NOC xxxx?

another question, if they calculate only the experiences related to the specific NOC under which the applicant applies, in this case will they ask for the reference letters for the non relevant work experiences? as in the above example, will they ask for reference letter for NOC yyyy as well?

Regards,

Ahmed

Yo Canol... you gotta ask a lot of people to check their inbox....

If your experiences fall under skill level O, A, or B and it is backed by detail reference letter, you will get points for both the NOC.

For 2nd case, at least provide appointment letter, relieving letter, etc to prove that you worked for that company. You won't get any points for that.
