well...it could delay the process slightly but what other choice do you have? CPC-O requests passports anytime from a few days, a few weeks to a few months after receiving medicals depending on individual case.

I got an email from the NDVO for the Medical and the FBI/PCC certificates.But the timeline seems to be short to get the FBI done with the time frame mentioned in the email i received from NDVO since FBI takes 6-8 weeks and I have only until the end of Oct.Given this circumstance does NDVO accept the request to extend the deadline further or they are stubborn in not doing so ?.Anybody experienced a similar situation ?.Please advise

It seems like aav terkukaiku are in the same situation as you. A few pages back aav posted his question about this problem. I too have this problem, but since I am under CPC-O, I can wait until middle of Nov. Let's hope it would make it by then.

Guys i received my PER email TODAY and i noticed my FIRST NAME is spelled wrong.
My First name is spelled as "BADAJI" funny instead of my actual name "BALAJI".
Request HELP and anyone had similar issues before?

I would personally wait for CPC-O to request the passport, and only then tell them to change the VO to NDVO. That way, if they don't make a decision soon, you can still collect it from CPC-O. Also NDVO would have the job to print the Visa, not do the evaluation.

Pl suggest me bank name which can issue DD for 6 months validity.
I am from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Pl suggest Bank name along with branch, if posi so that I can immediately go there ..
