Hello, as requested, international usage has been activated on your debit card.

your daily international usage limit for ATM is rs 40000 and POS is rs 100,000

I hope there will be no problem charging my Debit Card by CIO

your views appreciated.........

Debit card ? and just Rs 40,000 for international usage ? Are you traveling to Canada alone ?

Hi eagle2maple
It seems like aav terkukaiku are in the same situation as you. A few pages back aav posted his question about this problem. I too have this problem, but since I am under CPC-O, I can wait until middle of Nov. Let's hope it would make it by then.

Thanks o_o for your response.I have no other options but to request NDVO for an extension.

It doesn't take that long (i.e. 2 to 2.5 months) all the time; this year I saw a returned application that was posted by CIC in August and it returned to the applicant in India in exactly 9 days, by standard mail. So sometimes it can come to India in just over a week by normal Canadian post, and of course it can take longer as well, depends on one's luck (or the absence of it).

Hi oscar

It takes approx 40 days
Cic must have posted snail mail approx 30 days back
(Which states: They do completeness check well before )

Hello Folks

My IELTS results just came in. Could someone verify my score? I'm having a hard time understanding the FSW points system for IELTS:

Overall: 8

Speaking: 7.5

Listening: 7.5

Writing: 8

Reading: 8.5

Is my FSW score 23?

Speaking: 7.5 (6 points)
Listening: 7.5 (5 points)
Writing: 8 (6 points)
Reading: 8.5 (6 points)

TOTAL POINTS : 23

URGENT PLEASE HELP.

FOR INTERNATIONAL DD made by HDFC Bank India, what is the PURPOSE of the remittance to be mentioned on the FORM A2?

I could not find something matching to IMMIGRATION APPLICATION. Anyone please help.

Tell the Branch front office guy that purpose is for immigration to Canada. They will fill it. It is for their records anyways. You are concerned only with getting the DD with correct amount and correct beneficiary mentioned.

Got PER on Aug 21st. When to expect AOR/MR requests?

Yes buddy, I just got my DD (about half an hour ago :) ). Went to an empty SBI NRI Branch in Jubilee Hills, they processed in half an hour. Manager also told me that they've been processing many Canada DD for "The receiver general for canada". Increased my confidence manifold :)

Thanks a ton for the suggestion to go to SBI, saved so many hassles. Monday my package will be out, and 25th it'll be with CIC! Amen!

Great work ! Congrats !! All the best for further steps..

Hi All,

Me and my wife's IELTS is scheduled for 22Nov. And I fit in category NOC 2173 (according to Job responsibilities, i.e. Testing), NOC 2171 (according to my designation, i.e. Software Quality Assurance Engineer) and NOC 2174 (according to the nature of work which involves computer programming, i.e. Test Automation). Seeing my profile and the cap (that is approaching fast) which NOC should I fill as my primary one.

I have heard that for primary NOC, the candidate must have at least one year of experience, although, he would get points for experience in other NOCs as well.

My questions:
1. Is it reasonable for me to take a chance for applying for Canadian PR this time?
2. Whatever I heard around primary and other NOCs, is it true?
3. Which NOC do you think is most appropriate for me seeing the work that I am doing and more importantly the capping.

Guyz, I know we have lot of experienced people here, who must have answered this question before as well. Request someone from you to come forward to suggest me. Will be highly appreciated.

Thx

Hi friends,

Its bad news for me... Today i got my refusal letter from CHC and two years ban.

They think that i had mis-represented my Docs. But each and everything was 101% genuine. Just because of silly mistakes by my colleagues i lost everything today.

Regarding their concerns i had provided them more than enough docs which clearly shows that i was genuine. Even an un edcuated person can judge that i was genuine.........#####But Still#####.

Not a Fair Decision NVDO. Tough to accept.

Can anyone suggest if i make a appeal in Federal Court how much the cost of the Lawyer ( any approximations) or any one who faced this thing before.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Wow just doing some searches in the forum and i bumped into this post :o
It seems like he is a FSW 2013 application and NDVO felt that he had misrepresented his experience documents and came for physical verification to his office, where some office employees gave incorrect information... :(

Sad to here, but this is really alarming... :-X So people make sure your reference letters hold good and inform all concerned parties at your employment that in future there could be verification checks.

You are right about points for other NOCs. If you want to apply this year, don't even bother with 2174 and 2173. 2171 is better but probably capped too. In any case, if you still want to apply do it in 2171.

HI Dear,

I received Medical Received status on "2ndSep.,2014" after almost 1 month 6 days after I submitted my medical. Also , I received my GCMS notes which was generated on 20th Aug.,2014 and it shows they received my medical receipts on 28th July,2014. Anyways as I got my medical received status udpated in ECAS, I am not that worried about it.

But now my worry is my visa office is CPC-Ottawa and I did not notice any move from this office these days. As the GCMS notes was generated a month back , it was showing criminality inprogress.

Does anyone has an idea how much time will it take to finish that criminality check?

Just wanted to know, as I am planning to leave country by and of this month for 2-3 months and I will be in India for that time. In case I received PPR while I am India , is that okay if I submit passport to CPC-Ottawa from India? or it has to sent from my address mentioned on application. Also, if I submit passport from my India address , are they able to return back to India while my address on application is Canada Address.

Please guide me with your inputs on this.

Thanks in Advance.

Darsh

Ask CPC-O to add NDVO as secondary VO to your application and also request them that as you are in India, it would be better if stamping can be done at NDVO as sending passport outside India is illegal.
