but on the realistic side, I'd add another 3 odd weeks to that date .... my estimates are mid July applicants for 2174 and mid August applicants for 1112..... BEst of luck everyone ... !!!

I need to start PCC Process bot both US and India and i need your guidance.
Should i start India/US first and i'm residing in US?

PS: Administrators ashiffee..and others are doing awesome.

Start with US PCC first as it seems that takes time, I have sent the app in Sept first week and still even the credit card is not charged ... Applied for Indian PCC in SF Consulate and got a call within 3 days its ready have to just go and pick it up now.

They must have stopped your result because of quality checks. Did you tried to call their customer care number? They will let you know the tentative date of result.
I think you are not the one but they keep doing on regular basis.

The WES report for my spouse who is the primary applicant says canadian education equivalent : master degree. How many points to we get???

23 points for masters degree subject to bachelors done from recognised institute as per WES.

Could someone who has done please confirm the process of applying ECA from anna university, chennai?

Today my fiancee applied for her ECA from Anna university. They took 500 Rupees DD and asked her to submit the original degree and consolidated certificates and an envelope. (The certificates will be sealed and given in a week to us for sending it to WES.)

I am not clear if this is correct process as other university does differently. Also I was told that it would cost a minimum of 4000 rupees rather we were charged only 500. I am not sure if a transcript of all mark sheets will be given inside the envelope or not.

Please advise urgently.

Its true that Anna University will charge only RS 500 per transcript. You can get the transcript in a week. At that time they will return the originals in hand....

There is nothing for you to do right now except wait. It will probably be late October to November even before they open your package. You will not get any communication from CIC before that.

HI Dear,


I received Medical Received status on "2ndSep.,2014" after almost 1 month 6 days after I submitted my medical.Also , I received my GCMS notes which was generated on 20th Aug.,2014 and it shows they received my medical receipts on 28th July,2014. Anyways as I got my medical received status udpated in ECAS, I am not that worried about it.

But now my worry is my visa office is CPC-Ottawa and I did not notice any move from this office these days. As the GCMS notes was generated a month back , it was showing criminality inprogress.

Does anyone has an idea how much time will it take to finish that criminality check?

Just wanted to know, as I am planning to leave country by and of this month for 2-3 months and I will be in India for that time. In case I received PPR while I am India , is that okay if I submit passport to CPC-Ottawa from India? or it has to sent from my address mentioned on application. Also, if I submit passport from my India address , are they able to return back to India while my address on application is Canada Address.


Please guide me with your inputs on this.
