Hi Seniors,

I have this thing that worries me also. In my sched A form, my consultant erroneously typed one date in my personal history. During my 2012 vacation in the Philippines from 8/2012 - 9/2012, she typed 8/2012 - 5/2012 . However, my succeeding vacations from 8/2013 - 9/2013 and 8/2014 - 9/2014 were encoded correctly. Will this cause a big problem with my application? Thanks...

Fyi to all awaiting FBI PCC. I inquired if they can expedite or if there is any way I can receive my PCC in next 1 month. Unfortunately I could not get any help from there

People in similar situation and experts please comment.
A couple of paths to choose from.
1. Get FBI PCC from approved FBI chaneller who can give PCC within 2 weeks. I did google and read this is not allowed, but those were just random post my people. I wish to take a chance with this option having no choice. As such CIC website does not detail anything further than contacting FBI for PCC. Even if this was rejected by CIC atleast I can buy some time for resubmission.
2. Simple complete Medical, RPRF and local PCC. Then send them along with a cover letter explaining to VO and request for a month extension for FBI PCC submission.

I am sorry this is happening, but I think you are definitely in the right track as far as what you should do. When you ask for extension from CIC, also send them your correspondence with FBI (if it was through email) and the website where the delay is mentioned. I am sure CIC will be considerate. There is no harm in trying but the chanellers aren't supposed to provide report to people without green card or citizenship. Please report back if that works for you!

CIC has started charging 6th June applicants today, I'm also 26th may - no news, so today I sent enquiry mail to CIC. It will take 3-4 weeks for their response, but what else can one do at this stage.

Note, you CANNOT choose an FBI Channler. I think I messaged this to you last night, because I considered it. If you go here: http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/fbi-approved-channelers you will see that you can use the FBI Channler only if you are US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Which I am not, and I think you may not be either.

I think I would personally try to explain it to my VO i.e. CPC-O. Let's see.
