I am a 16 May LVO applicant having already received PER. For the last two weeks whenever i would check my ECAS status, i would fill my UCI without hyphen sign (-), but today i noticed that when i entered my UCI without hyphen sign, ECAS alerted me to enter it or else it would not move forward, and i was able to see my status after using the hyphen sign,

My question is, can the above instance be considered as an indication that perhaps some online record upation is being done by VO?

I have certain questions which are, to the best of my knowledge, nowhere answered on cic's website.
I would like to put them across to get your wise opinion.


1. My husband is already in Vancouver pursuing masters from UBC which started in Sep 14. After he received study permit, I applied for my work permit and my baby's tourist visa, and got the same in due course. All three of us underwent medical exam in may & July 2014 for our respective Temporary visas and the report should be with NDVO. Do you think that NDVo al will ask for MR once again now as then we will be required to undergo new medicals. If yes , does my husband need to undergo the medical exam in Canada whereas I get it done in India ?


2. How will my husband send his passport for stamping of PR visa to NDVO at a later stage ? Does he get it stamped in canada whereas i send it to NDVo ?

3. I sent PCC (dated may 2014) for myself as well as my husband along with the application package. If at all NDVO asks to submit them afresh, how will my husband obtain it because he will neither be able to visit PSK . Also how will he obtain a PCC from Canada ?

for RPRF, you dont need to pay for kids bro....
It will always be in whole nos.....490*no of dependants less than 18 yrs age

It can also be paid in local currency

canOl - where is the link to pay by credit card? If I remember correctly I did not find the through the CIC RPRF page, maybe its on another path that I dont know yet.

It maybe already full. So be prepared to waste the courier charges..BUT STILL APPLY. Who knows, you maybe that 999th applicant. All the best!

but spread sheet reflects something else. even pessimist view in spread sheet says that it will go till 26 september and realistic view says that it will go till 10 october (discussion about 2132 mechanical engineer)

Thank you namaste I was not aware of the Australia's system. I have only looked at the US and Canada. It's reassuring to know that no job offer is required. I will look at it if this does not work out I got my MR, so not too bad so far.

I was earlier thinking between Aus and Canada, but finally decided on Canada. Hence application got delayed in the process. Generally Aus programme starts in July every year.. they have a main occupation list called SOL (where you can apply and land anywhere in Aus) or then apply under the secondary CSOL list (state sponsored) if occupation is not in SOL where state sponsorship needs to be taken before applying .

Hello Guys

I have requested for transcripts along with the WES academic records request form from my university, after receiving my transcripts i came to know that in WES academic records request form "the year of award" was mentioned as 2006 instead of 2005. What can i do now, can i change the year on my own and send the document to WES for assessment(i am worried it may be a problem) or do i need to contact my university again for changing the date.

WES academic records request form is anyways not a compulsory doc.

To know whether DD has been encashed, it may take from 1 day to 14 days by your bank. So, you have to wait for that period.

Just think of me - my bank decline to say anything about DD encashment. So I have to wait for PER.

Thanks for the same. My exam was conducted in a hotel. You mean to say i need to approach the IDP Centre. Will they handover a duplicate copy to me by hand?
