Hello All:

My ECAS status is showing in "In Process"; "We received your application for permanent residence on May 28, 2014"

I have paid through DD; and I have no update from bank.

It has been 3 days; Is there any hope for PER?

I am worried!!!

There's still hope for PER. A lot of applicants from previous dates are still waiting for PERs.

In the barcode section,

I have forgot to write my name and left that thing blank. However I have signed and CHECKED the required boxes.


Am I in trouble ? I don't know how I missed it but I have.

My brother had his application reach on May 23 , noc 2173
I checked iwth the bank no news of DD being charged. I see applicants of May 27 and beyond getting PER. Anyone with DD mode of Payment got PER after May 23?

I lived in london, but this seems to be very ok when compared to that except for the insurance bit. Ofcourse, it was outrageous there initially but came down by more than 50% in 2 year and further down after that.

What do you think one should earn to meet these expenses with decent living standards per month.

I would say something like 9000-10000CAD before income tax for a family of four.

Hi all...

im confused about what my consultant is saying now, coz he advised us today that our file has been transferred to the Local visa office... but we haven't received our PER yet.... also he advised that all our emails which was sent by CIC has been sent to the LVO?? can this happen??

application date 22nd may noc 2174....

need some expert advised on this...

as we seem to be going no where with this...

I thinkyou should send an enquiry directly to CIC with all your details along with the subject line "Follow up required" ..... Seniors plz comment

seniors,

please help!!!

as i earlier mentioned that my name in 10th certificate & BC is tarun kumar however I got my surname corrected to Kapoor later via getting it published in newspaper. Now my passport has Tarun Kapoor written on it.

My question is what kind of legal document needs to be given???

Is it merely an affidavit or I need to get it published in Govt Gazette also????

The fact is that fee can still be charged without CVV number. It just needs CC number and expiry date. The question is whether CIC will allow this and go ahead and charge it or not... as far as my knowledge goes....no one has reported it yet...

However i would like the bankers in this forum to confirm this.... viz.. @ CanOl ?

possible yes, But most likely no one does it !! ...most legitimate merchants / payment gateways today require the CVV or CVC code to ensure your security and theirs, (though payment can technically be charged without CVV or CVC code).

If you find a merchant that does not ask for this with an online transaction they can be reported to VISA or MASTERCARD. So no merchant will take this risk.

I have send one query to CIC regardimg the status of our file on 9th Aug, and we received PER on 27 Aug ... today they have replied and the reply looks like :

Good morning,



Please be advised that our office is not the holder of your application. Please contact the New Delhi Visa Office for information/enquiries.

But the question is the status on the CIC site is still we have received your app on 14th May ..... please suggest where is my file as of now ??????

Your file is in Delhi with NDVO after you have got your PER. Congrats !!

I shared this with you as she said all things to em and end up saying please wait till Oct last week or Nov first week ... I also want your words to come true our file reached on 14th May so we are expecting MR before Nov first week and it was a bummer for me thats why i quoted you

Thanks for sharing your experience with FBI customer care.. To me she said that they have started processing and I should call after a week... And as per my past experience after charging the fees they don't take much time.. She said that due to new system implemented the processing is slow but still I should call after 1 week from now.. Well it depends on number of applications too.. As nowadays there are so many like us..so offcourse that will also add the backlog.. Hope we both should get in first week of Oct...
