I Have done Masters of Business Economics from GNDU...These guys took more than a month to verify the degree still no trace if they had sent by registered post or not to WES.

do we have anyone from GNDU who faced this situation.....as I am out of India I had sent all document by courier to university by post including the DD of INR 3000 for verifying degree...its really difficult to follow up by phone. ..need help from some from GNDU.

Could someone who has done please confirm the process of applying ECA from anna university, chennai?

Today my fiancee applied for her ECA from Anna university. They took 500 Rupees DD and asked her to submit the original degree and consolidated certificates and an envelope. (The certificates will be sealed and given in a week to us for sending it to WES.)

I am not clear if this is correct process as other university does differently. Also I was told that it would cost a minimum of 4000 rupees rather we were charged only 500. I am not sure if a transcript of all mark sheets will be given inside the envelope or not.

Please advise urgently.

as i earlier mentioned that my name in 10th certificate & BC is tarun kumar however I got my surname corrected to Kapoor later via getting it published in newspaper. Now my passport has Tarun Kapoor written on it.

My question is what kind of legal document needs to be given???

Is it merely an affidavit or I need to get it published in Govt Gazette also??

1. PCC- 1 day to 1 month depending on whether PCC office and Passport office are the same jurisdiction or different.

2. 2171 worth a try.

3. If you apply this year and your application is not processed then you would be eligible for refund.

4. send requisite forms, IELTS, WES, PCC (not mandatory), affidavits if any, all supporting docs and fees DD / CC details to CIC.

Can seniors please advise:

When I will be re-sending application (this time I will include original WES evaluation) should I update for example: certification bank statement, or just res-ended the one which they received?
I am updating currently all forms on the application, since they all changed since May
Do you advise also, to include the forms previously send - the Canada officer had been making check-marks on he forms.

They also put UCI # on the form, should I do something with it?

Be advised, that some forms have been amended since you applied. It would be a good idea to reapply with the latest forms available on the CIC site.

Treat it as new application
Include all new forms
About your bank statement "I guess" that's valid for 6 months. ( not sure though)
Include fresh DD (if u r paying via dd )

As far as Canada is concern, Affidavit is fine. I mentioned this to you earlier few days back.

But, in the Indian context, please speak to a lawyer, for the future purpose.

Any senior from india can guide me how to prepare the draft from icici bank...I am asking this question because i don't want to commit any mistake in this as i saw some cases in fourm where application returned back because dd not get enchashed....

tell them it needs to be a CAD DD. Fill up a small form at their branch. Ensure you mention the beneficiary and amount correctly. Tell them DD validity needs to be 6 months. They will issue the DD to you.

Let me try

I guess you can include "paper cuttings" or other formalities you did while name changing
Include your license or any other photo id with new name .
Just wanna know what all proofs you gave for new name @ passport office while getting passport

And offcourse draft cover letter accordingly .

Write the UCI number they put in your old forms in the new one where it corresponds. Do not include the previously forms in your new application package. I applied last year and the documents were returned due to cap reached and when applying this year just did everything from the beginning and did not included the old forms...
