Even you are not claiming points ..you need to show all her documents...only IELTS will not be there..as you dont want to claim points anyways...

Thats not Correct... There is no need to submit the Educational documents for your spouse. If you do then also You will not get any points for her Education. If you want you can submit her Ielts and take 5points for that....

I'm not an expert but to me this just confirms what the minster said that immigration visa steps is reduced from 3 steps to only one step... now they are doing completeness check and detailed docs and points review in the same step and what VO is doing is just a confirmation on that main step then asks for MR..

Just thoughts..

Any idea on validity of PR visa? I mean, when one gets his Visa under FSW, for how much time he can defer his landing?

Spouse's all the documents are to be submitted even if you are not claiming points since declaring in the background info in the CIC forms.

Visa shall be valid for 1 year from the date of MR means you have to land within 1 year.
