Hi anyone here who knows a successful applicant for fsw who only had a bank certificate showing the required amount as proof of funds? I am just getting worried because I do not have any assets and liabilities yet..I have a lot of concern about settlement funds... Because I knew someone who got a visa refusal due to settlement funds...Anyone who share the same sentiments?

Go ahead and show bank certificate

I am annoyed that how someone can be doing graduation as a regular, Exstudent and then private..Can you please eloborate..what exactly is your degree..?

Well First year done the college as Regular student and then in second year i appeared as a regular student and then i failed and then again give the exam as Ex student for the second time for second year. then i appeared third year as a private student. so Final degree is completed as private student.

Hi,

My friend has done MBA through Correspondence. will WES or CIC consider this ?

On WES's website there is a tool which gives you information if your education will be approved or not; try that to be sure.

Experts...

Any idea on validity of PR visa? I mean, when one gets his Visa under FSW, for how much time he can defer his landing?

Thanks

The expiry date is one year from the time medical examinations were completed or as indicated on the PR card.

do you guys think this year is faster by cic or they just changed thier strategy ?

what i mean is many mambers got the MR just after 3-4 months after they applied !

as we all agree on , usually after an average of 3 months after MR people gets the visa !

do does this means CIC is finishing FSW applications in 6-9 months or they just asked for MR earlier this year and nothing would change?

thanks

I wish so :)

Dear Friends,

Govt. of Oman refused to issue a visa to my wife due to a previous overstay of 02 months and 20 days from 2014-03-26 to 2014-06-18. Should I mention this in Question 6 (e) of Schedule A - background/Declaration Form or Not? If I mention, will it affect our application. I am really worried.

Kind Regards,

Rizwan Ali

Hi Rizwan,
Be assured, that two months overstay will not impact your application. One of my friend who overstayed in Australia got UK HSMP in 2009. I would however, suggest that you do mention on your application, but only if they ask. Remember, never give too much information which is not required. So, be confident and even if you mention this information, it serves NO BASIS FOR REJECTION.
Regards,
AJ

Correspondence studies don't make much difference as long as university from which degree/diploma is earned is a recognized one. One of my friends has done correspondence graduation and he got his canadian equivalency as that of bachelor's degree only from WES.

Hope this information helps...!!

Hello Ankush ,

Please help as i have done the B.Sc (physics ,chemistry and mathematics) from DAVV and completed graduation as a private student in 6 years instead of 3 year as i failed for 3 times. So How WES is going to access this.

Does still WES access it as a 3 year bachelor degree or lower degree then this.

please help

I am no expert but what I have read on forums about Immigration, Canada is launching Express Entry in Jan 2015 and before that they want to clear the backlog as much as possible, as from January the focus of everyone MIGHT shift to make Express Entry a success.

Well this is my anticipation that after launch of Express Entry the process of FSW might get slow again :(

P.S. this is purely my viewpoint.

I think the early applicants who got MR & visa were having UCI of FSW 2013 with documents all ready. My guesses. Or they want to finish this archaic system in a hurry and start afresh with EE.

i completed my master part time in three years....WES said it is equal to two years canadian master...so dont worry...they will judge t according to their norms..

I am not sure abt BSc..but in any college OD..there will not be anything which notifies someone as Private..OD will be awarded after completing your graduation whatever may be the cae ...completed in 3 yrs, 4 yrs , 5 yrs..
