Guys, need a quick help.

I am applying for ECA today from India, Chennai. This is what the information I have collected. Sorry, I am in a rush and started doing this whole FSW process since yesterday. Please advise me if I am missing anything. And please tell me if I am correct so that I can be sure before leaving home. :)

1. Created an account in WES.
2. The provisional and degree certificate - Photcopies
3. Getting a closed envelope with attested copies of all semester marksheets from controller of examination.
4. Send both documents along with WES letter and register number to WES Toronto address.

Nice estimates. But I think the SS is more accurate when it comes to the 217 series as most of the members fall under these NOCs. This is apparently seen on the percentages in the SS count vs. the CIC cap for 2071,73, and 74. For 1112 and other NOCs, there are alot more applicants out there that we have no information thus we should really manage our expectations on when will the other NOCs reach cap, especially 1112.

Do you mean there is no way to apply and get through under 2173 code? I am in the process of applying it on November. Please advise

Sorry to hear about that Grace but I went through that couple times (cap reached, changes in paperwork, or closing the program). Your Noc is so cold that you can easily resend them and still be in. If I can help somehow just let me know.
Don't give up!!!!

I have a query related to settlement funds, as my father gifted me the funds and i made the Fixed deposit on my name from our ( my and my father ) joint account does this will cause any issue ?

I think,
joint account with your father is not valid for CIC,
you can show joint account with your wife instead...

senior advise

Good morning to you.

Yes, if you want, you can update your VO. However, I don't think, it is not a major employment change event as far as CIC is concern.

So yes, only promotional letter is suffice - no reference letter required.

Yes correct that's why i did not show the joint account i have just shown the Fixed deposits ( FD). The real question is, can my dad gift me money or not ?( from settlement funds validity perspective )

Thanks Century +1...

How do i update my VO?

You must have got a mail from local VO asking for RPRF online payment, this should also have the detail of how to pay online.
Check your mail again my friend to look out for details :)

Still if you are unable to, we will help you with it :) God bless

Since the discussions are going towards PCC, can anyone help me with this

I submitted 2 PCC along with my application
1. PCC from USA obtained Sep 2013 - valid till Sep 2014 ( assuming 1 year validity )
2. PCC from India obtained Aug 2013 - valid till Aug 2014 ( assuming 1 year validity )

I am a June 5th applicant - waiting for PER
I am in Canada

I got my PCC ( for both USA and India ) when i was in the US
I have left US since and have been in Canada from April 2014

Should I apply for both PCCs now ? or wait ?

Thanks

After getting your Pcc if u haven't entered that country your old Pcc will suffice. No time limit
(I am sure on this )

You should not be doing step 3 that you have mentioned. The attested marksheets should be sent from the university directly to WES. You can ask your university about the procedure and they will tell you how to go about it.
