if your present company has acquired or bought out your previous company, then they should be able to provide your job details from that company as well. Coz in your case, its still continued employment. It can be in a single letter for each period of work in the letter, especially if the NOC's / job duties are different. If not differnet, then just mention single set of job duties for the entire 3-5 years in the letter.

You can draft the letter, which you HR/manager, can reproduce... and in that letter mention "working with us from start date .... (as part of acquisition from XXXX) and has held the following designations with following compensations and performing the job duties as listed below....

I have same case, and my HR obliged in giving me this kind of letter, without any issue.

Good Luck

Thanks SAPS for your advice this helpful. but the problem is that The company which took our previous company is by the Name A our previous company before acquisition was B after Acquisition by A our previous company Name on letter head Become AB. Now another company by the name C of A company was in india. Now they want single company in india so People resigned from the company AB and joined new company by the name AC where a is the name of the company which acquire and the C is the name of the company which A has earlier in india. So they way we moved from AB to AC. Now question is that whether HR of AC company can also sign for job in Company AB.....

please help on this....... thanks in advance

As per my past experience I can say that after CC charging they take 1 week to process and then couple of days in getting it delivered... If you want you can call them even and they will let you know exactly what is the status of your summary report... They can even let you know when it has been dispatched to your address..

How much are the charges? Please advice....

Congrats Kumar2k1.. Very happy for you.. :)

Reference letter should be preferably on the ketter head, if not then it can be in the plain paper accompanied by the visiting card of the manager copy of the id card (if avaioable) and an affidavit from ur side stating the reason for not getting the jd from hr or on the comapny letter head ( reason may be the company policy etc.)

Reference letter must state ur job duties in each position held in the comapny and the period u worked on each position (preferably in line with the noc u are applying in). Ur total period /date since when u are with the comapny. Job/ working hours/ full time. Ur total annual salary and off course the signture, name and designation and employee code, contact number email id of the manager signing the letter
.

Thanks, for the information Vind can we get any format or if you have or any Member has the format for Reference letter from the Manager on a plain paper instead of on the Company's Letter Head. It will be Thank Full.

Dear senior members,

Kindly suggest.

At the time of application to NS CIO, I submitted my POF as fixed deposit certificates, which were getting mature in start of 6 Aug 2014. Then once my fixed deposit get matured, I had to renew them. So obviously new fixed deposit certificates has new number on them (Different from what i sent). I have already received my PER on 21 Aug 2014.

Do you think this can create any problem? What should I do in this case, as PER says dont send documents unless requested.

Regards

No issue dear...renew your fdrs ...id will remain same ...so not to worry...

That is exactly the unfortunate scenario we are finding with almost all of the consultants. The more we talk of it, the more frustrating experiences with consultants are coming to light.

I feel so blessed to have not used a consultant :) and hope that all my friends on this forum also can escape these sad experiences especially when there is already a lot of anxiety and stress associated already with applying for moving to another country and then waiting and waiting and waiting for the final result.

+1 for sharing.

Guys, something on the consultants !!!!

We use a consultant to be doubly sure of our application, I agree. But too much dependence on a consultant is also not good. All consultants are not bad, BTW. There are a few good consultants as well. Also it is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that his application is correctly filled. Definitely can't leave it to the consultant. A consultant has nothing to lose except a client and maybe 2-3 more due to negative word of mouth publicity by the applicant who has suffered. But the applicant suffers irrepairable damage at times.

As an applicant, we need to ensure that we know more than what the consultant knows. Pls refer to CIC website..Saying this again and again. We on this forum can also provide help, but self help is the best help and will also help improve knowledge on the subject. After going through the site thoroughly, I would suggest fill the forms without asking the consultants or on this forum. Then take a second opinion from your consultant and a third one from this forum. That's what consultants and this forum is for.

Don't expect consultant to spoon feed you. By doing this, you will risk your own careers and if something goes wrong, you will blame the consultant. Always know more than the consultant so that whenever you feel he is doing something wrong, you can whack his a$$ and ensure right course of action at all times.

Having said this, the consultant may still goof up, (like my consultant gave me wrong courier docket no for Halifax for DAL univ instead of CIO Sydney), but then you can take his case and not get fooled by him, provided you have the requisite knowledge. Treat them the way they are...If they are very knowledgeable, give them the due respect and if they are less knowledgeable, treat them like a learning kid, whacking them when necessary and praising them if they suggest something good. No point in blaming them. You may get them blacklisted, (that needs to be done anyways for bad consultants) but it does not solve your problem, right?

So always ensure to take full responsibility for your applications, with or without a consultant. Its your career at stake, not theirs.

Congrats Shakti.. ;) :) :)
