Are you sure about the email address that you gave CIC was correct?
Make sure you check the SPAM/JUNK folders.
Make sure that this address "Centralized-Intake-Office <Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca>" does not labelled as SPAM/JUNK.

Hi,

I have checked in my form, correct email ID is provided, also checked the above email ID you provided but no-mail....

Is your spouse included in your app?

Hi Mikey,

No, I am not applying for a visa for them now. However, i have mentioned their details all the places where it is required.

Thank you.

As long as the PCC covers latest period, you are fine to proceed.

There is no guidance that PCC got to cover whole life.

Technically speaking, PCC covers only a certain area (we called it Thana - or jurisdiction of Police Station) - I think, it is also known to CIC also.

Hi Saps,
Thank you for your response. I have already entered my details in the SS.

Can I request you to keep me updated about your application status so that I can use your experience?

Oscar/Century/other seniors do you guys have any inputs? Any inputs will be very helpful

Yes, background checking need to be done. Even medical checking also.

Seniors need ur answer,

what about those cases in which CC is charged and application is rejected n returned??????????

I dont see anyone responding to such situation........

Can we claim the deducted amount from CIC? :o :o :o

They don't have access with the national database of other countries- I am sure about it.

My application was received on 9th Jun. But my NOC is 2174 which is reaching very fast to its cap. I feel exactly same as feeling while watching close cricket matches. :o

Nope... not if they arent accompanying you... why would CIC wanna know about ppl who are not entering Canada...

Thanks Red. In that case, if they are coming the future, I have procure one then, may be. I am anyway getting mine, hence will try and get it done for my spouse as well. It is not very costly either.

Dear
National database for India .. Not talking about Interpol
Indian Pcc for India database ( not for other counties )
Or else they should have Pcc for every state where you lived ( atleast they have record for States )

Brother, you file can be rejected after PER, and even when landing, and even after getting PR.

So, let's not concentrate on negative.

They have charged means your documents are complete. It was the biggest hurdle for you. Once you pass that, now be positive. My gut feeling - you will be OK.

Cheers

Actually every country does it their way and there is not a mandate to do one particular way. CIC accepts what is done in a given country. Not every country has a national database, some just check the local jurisdiction where the person is living NOW.

If they just look for local area records ..in that case .. Police inspector of that "chowki" should give Pcc instead of going via commissioner office .
