My literature is telling that anybody can get rejected before citizenship - so it is not worthy to think on negative.

My application was received on 9th Jun. But my NOC is 2174 which is reaching very fast to its cap. I feel exactly same as feeling while watching close cricket matches.

dont worry..they are not done with apps yet..so you just have to wait for few more days i suppose..and u can contact cic through their email..ut i will suggest to wait because there are few people with same problem as yours.. to sum up..you are in safe zone ..will hear good news shortly..and u can hit the panic button after 2 weeks..

My application reached on 19th May NOC 2174 But till date I have not received any information.
It means I m not in the list? i also applied last year but due to CAP reach it returned back .
One of my friend told me that she has a specific contact number of CIC where she called and got information about her file.
Is there really such a number exists?? where we can know the status of our application.
I have also seen people are able to check the status of there file with UCI number even though they have not received PER mail.

Kindly give some suggestions either I have to wait only or any other way to know about application status?

In that case this is the easiest way to get Pcc .
No need for passport seva kendre or commisioner office Pcc

I recommend members (expect Punjab ) should visit local police chowki and get Pcc done . Quite simple

hey..just got to know a strange thing from a lawyer based in Canada ( i/he may be completely wrong ) . Just thought whats wrong in sharing and knw if its even true. He told me that out of 25000 only 11000 will count towards open entry in FSW..rest is reserved for people with arranged employment n all..I repeat i may be wrong..

There is no cap on arranged employment so why would 11,000 be reserved for arranged employment?

Dear I assume you have uci number
Google "ecas "
Fill the info there with ur uci and if they have processed your fees cc/dd u will get status

There is a number but they won't reply case specific questions .

1st try checking ecas ...

I thought ecas didn't update till after PER issued

How much are your self calculated points... if you dont mind sharing..
Shoot an e- mail to CIC with your full name , NOC, DOB, application filed date. expect a reply after 20 working days or so...

Follow this order, make sure you hear the number before pressing it.

English...........= 1
Foreign Affairs.= 2
Immigration.....= 2
Call Transfer......
English...........= 1
Status...........= 2

They'll put you on hold for about 6 - 20 minutes.

People who were able to check their status even without receiving PER are ppl who already got their UCI number from previous year application. Few received few had simply got the filed returned !

correct, 11000 isnt mentioned anywhere and anyway its like 11000 lawyers and 1100000000000 new things popping up
