Good. This sounds like it could work. Carrying an initial amount to satisfy the officer that you can survive the first couple of months with cash on hand and the bank statements as evidence that altogether you have the full required amount. Carrying around $5000 for a single person and then add another $2000 per person would be my approach. Well not all in cash. 80/20 rule for DD/Cash. It takes 15 days for an International DD to be cashed to your chequing account so the cash.
Anyone about to complete the landing process want to try doing this?
