Hi Friends,

Today I got email from LVO asking to pay fees for the PR and submit PCC & Medical. Looks like LVO is processing very fast as the time duration between the processing start date and MR request date is 4 working days.

All the best to all my friends in this forum.. :) :) :) :) :)

Don't be flustered by the UAN number. Just download the EPF passbook. You can add a cover letter explaining the same, that its of old employer and you can withdraw these funds if you have to immigrate. Add supportings linking your EPF account number if you have any, for example payslip from previous organisation. Normally payslips should have the EPF number.

I also submitted EPF from previous employer and added cover letter saying, i am in the process of transferring these funds to my current EPF account.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Saps,

+1 for the suggestion .It surely helps

When can we check the status online?
I think probably when CIC assign a UIC but when does CIC assign a UIC? People are able to check the status even when they don't get the PR. So I am confused...?

An can you please share the URL?

Most probably he already had a UCI from earlier application.

Hi can anybody share AOR & MR emails they received
u can remove ur personal details I just want to know the time frames given for PCC MR and RPRF

hi Dsiraj,

for PCC & RPRF, you are given 30days to comply.
for MR, you should do it within 60days of email receipt.

But these time frames seems to be different across Visa Offices, these info are coming from Manila Visa Office by the way.

You applying to 2171 as well? I'm worried sick about the timeline - I just hope I make it through, even I'm the 999th approved application ;D

Could you tell me how you changed the mailing address? I had put my India address during application.
Can I actually ask for 2 copies for me and 1 copy to be sent to my brother in Canada? Do they do that? I'm ready to pay up...

And yes, I've opted for tracked delivery; actually I'm even ready to pay extra in case they can expedite the process! As Russell Peters says, "Just take it, and GO!!"

All the best to you buddy, let me know once you send you receive the WES report and send your package...

Guys...put yourself a tight deadline. Keep working hard to get the the deadline preponed, even if it means by hours and minutes! Best wishes to both of You!

Future canadian has already answered your query regarding reference letter.

We have already seen several rejections this year due to absence of roles and responsibilities in the reference letter. So it would be a good idea to try hard to get that on a company letter head.

I agree with you that it is stated that job duties should be mentioned on reference letter ...

but if you see if some one has mentioned that he is software engineer or mechanical engineer or Insurance office worker many like you can't estimate from the job title name that what he or she is doing......

in my case its mentioned authorized person by stock broker and sub-broker by certificate granting authority which is SEBI.......

can't you see any difference.....
