Hello FSW 2014 Applicants,

Wishing all the FSW 2014 applicants who applied, a quick PER / Processing of application.

I would like to inform you that we have a FB group for discussing all the settlement issues in Canada. Since the setting for the fb group has been selected as "secret" so only group members see the group, who's in it & what members post.

Since the fb group is to discuss settlement issues and Networking, we have the following two conditions for applicants wishing to join the fb group:

1) Applicants must have PER.
2) Applicants must join with their regular fb profile.

We have many applicants in the fb group who have already landed and they can be a great help for discussing settlement issues across Canada. Also you can help if you have knowledge about certain questions asked in the group.

All the FSW2014 Applicants who meets the above two conditions and wish to join the fb group shall PM me the email id which they use to log in to their fb account.

I need some information about the Medical Exam.

1. Do we have to visit only the Physician who is under the list of Physicians as per the CIC website.
2. For all the USA applicants, how much did it cost for the Medical Exams.

USA medical expenses - I am not aware.

Yes i am silent viewer and i.ts HDFC card
but number of times I called them to remind for transaction and set limit for international transaction.

I've done part payment by CC and part by DD....My CC is of ICICI bank...i've asked them about the international limit several times, they reply saying the international limit is the same limit as rupees limit converted into the foreign currency.....how was it for you??

Good news are coming from different VISA offices but no update from Singapore VISA office. Anyone have any idea when they are going to send medical req, rprf etc?

SGVO is hybernating. It will be a long wait for us I guess. We just can hope that they start acting soon.

Guys When I saw app by VO in NDVO.... It shows 15 files rejected.....Are they rejected by local VO?

Send degree and transcript copies with a cover letter mention on top your name surname as filled in form, package receive date and receiver name, DOB and mention that you forgot to include and request to include it in your package. Mention passport no. also

My opinion will be : send new app and include cover letter ( reason given by cic ) and cover letter from ursine ( explaining apology and why card dint work

Ok guys..a few last minute questions. Some might be silly, but I have to ask them anyway as I don't like CIC rejecting me for silly reasons
Your help is much appreciated.

1. Some questions - should I select No or should I write "not applicable" after taking print out (like spouse english ability - i don't have a spouse, so should I select "no" or "not applicable") ?
2. proof of funds - we fill the form in CAD and our bank stmt. will be in INR. Should I write the equivalency in the cover letter ?
3. In additional family information(5406), we have to write our name in English and native language. I have such a long name, I dont have much space left. Should I just adjust it somehow or leave it blank ?
4. In supplementray travels form(5562), we have to list all trips outside India. I was in US for 5+ years continuously with a couple of months of vacations to India in between. Should I just mention my entire US stay in one line, or should I break up my visits to US with the vacations in India ?
5. In background declaration(5669),in the education section, how should I break up my education ?
primary(5), secondary(7) and university(4) or
primary(10), secondary(2) and university(4)
6. In the generic checklist, for docs that are not applicable, should I just leave them unchecked or should I write not applicable by hand ?
7. In 2010, my past company applied for a canadian work permit for me to work in Toronto. The high commission in Delhi requested for few additional docs and for a new passport(as my old passport was damaged). We had to submit this in 30 days, but time was insufficient and eventually my company never replied back with the docs and the new passport. So, I don't have a UCI but I do have a file number for this. Should I mention this in my cover letter ?
