Sadly, I got my package back yesterday. May 8th applicant (NOC 2132 - Mech Eng).
Major reason was insufficient details in employment letter (which I had expressed earlier on this forum).
Extract from the letter says
"The employment letters from ABCXYZ do not provide sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.
Therefore, I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as described of the NOC 2132 - Mechanical Engineers"

My company HR refused giving employment reference letter with details as required. They only gave a one-pager stating date of employment and current position. I attached my cv to buttress it as I was not on this forum as at then to have known about getting my Manager to sign the letter on plain paper.

I am reworking the letter now and would soon send back the package. I'm believing I should meet up the cap as successful applications (PER's I believe) are still at 202 for NOC 2132 for now.

If your HR department is refusing to give you a letter, why not try to get a letter from an immediate supervisor, who knows the details of the tasks that you did. Get it on a company letterhead, though.

Your NOC 2132 with 202 applicants seems to be lukewarm - not too many applicants, and at the same time not too few either.

So, apply again and good luck!

general observation is CC is charged ahead than too of DD, so might be the case
secondly verification and fee collection are separate tasks for CIC, sooner or later CIC will get some good email for you...

20th-21st, only 1 DD is charged against 17 CC,
ppl who hv received PER, are mostly CC,
DD ppl still in que, i am one of them...so SLEEP WELL, worries aside

Could you tell me , when will the NOC2173 get capped,would august applicant be in the list1000?
As I am 25th Aug candidate.

NOC 2173 is for Software engineers and designers
till date 242 applications got PER.....
i think ur chances r 50-50 mate...sorry...
i think u should check sum other NOC as Well...

Another quick question here on Schedule 3... Should I put the current date(year/month) for the "From/To" section, if it's my current job?

The reference letter is not putting the end date, as it says "he is currently employed...etc."

Since it's barely making up 1 year , I want to explicitly show that it's been a year since I am at this job. What do you suggest?

I have submitted my FSW 2014 & reach CIO on 18-Aug-2014. However, today I have realized that I have not put my & my spouse name in our native language in "Schedule A : Background Declaration Form IMM5669"

All senior members are requested to throw some light on this ???

Please advise what to do now ???

I would suggest to put the TO date as this month (or the month in which you send the application). I am doing that for my current job.
