Hello guys,

i received my PER email in 13th of Aug, and till now my ECAS shows only 1 line ,"We received your ......on 8 May"

1- How much time is it taking to hear any news from London VO after getting PER.
2- Any news from London VO !!!! (for London VO applicants)
3- Are they sending AOR emails ???

In my case the second line was added after 3 months

Sadly, I got my package back yesterday. May 8th applicant (NOC 2132 - Mech Eng).
Major reason was insufficient details in employment letter (which I had expressed earlier on this forum).
Extract from the letter says
"The employment letters from ABCXYZ do not provide sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.
Therefore, I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as described of the NOC 2132 - Mechanical Engineers"

My company HR refused giving employment reference letter with details as required. They only gave a one-pager stating date of employment and current position. I attached my cv to buttress it as I was not on this forum as at then to have known about getting my Manager to sign the letter on plain paper.

I am reworking the letter now and would soon send back the package. I'm believing I should meet up the cap as successful applications (PER's I believe) are still at 202 for NOC 2132 for now.

Just to ask for my knowledge that people like me who will send application in this month end ,how much time it will take for
cc or dd to be debited and also for PER as i have heard that
applications were less after May 2014.

And my NOC is 0121

hdfc told me they can give it for me by tomorrow morning.

Do you have an account with ICICI? If yes, then ask the manager to write on a paper and give it to you that he can't provide CAD DD. If you dont have an account, it is a different story. Some banks dont do it. Some will ask for lot of documentation like CA certificate, etc, etc. Try indusindbank. I know some one in kotak, if they are happy to help, will ask them to call you. Please ping me your mobile number on IM.

Thomas cook will charge you a bomb. I would say, try what i suggested, if it doesnt work, then go for Thomas Cook.

@ Darsh.. Oscar is correct.. Try to use DD for safest option.. You will hear news after 3 months as per current trends..

Man, You too should try and use a 6 month validity DD instead of a CC - don't tell me later I did not warn you mate!!

Anyone in Pune, MH, India knows any fingerprinting expert for PCC from FBI - US?

I am unable to find any reliable person...

If you don't have PCC but you get the medical call along with list of docs that needs to be submitted , how do you handle that situation?

Means do you ask for more time to complete the formalities or you just send the documents whatever you can furnish and then let the NDVO office reply again?

Why I am asking is bcoz PCC takes minimum 13-14 weeks that means 3 months additional time

Hello Friends,

Need more suggestion hence posting this question again. My application reached on 7th May 2014 and PER recieved on 25th July 2014. As per the FSW sheet 7th May applicants have started to receive the medical request.

I have few queries as we are not in India presently:
1) After how many days from medical request, passport request can be expected (approximately).
2) As we are outside India and passport request comes what shall be done in that case.
