Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.

The emphasis is on the bold above...

As the PER is supposed to be generic, could it be that:

1. The first PER (as above) will receive AOR and the second will not?

2. Could it be that the first is not receiving attention as the second yet?

3.Could it be that the first will be processed by the visa office indicated on the application and the second can be processed by the visa office to be determined by CIC - Probably to ease off the work load/pressure?

4. Will it not help if people who receive PER begin to include the initials as indicated on their PER in updating the SS (as it is done for application receipt) to better explain the rationale behind this difference in the diction used?

5.Could it be.......brain still asking several could it be...

Any thought on the above...?

As per SS, yes this name exists "STEPHENSON", means your package is received by CIC.
Just relax now and gather patience for 100 days approx. to hear from CIC :)

Agree with randev's suggestion and if you are able to get the reference letter on company letter head from a senior then great, else can also get it on plain A4 sheet - several folks have received PER on that basis. If possible also ask the person signing that letter for their business card (not a mandate though)
Txs Oscar7. I will get the business card. I appreciate

What I think, the 2nd PER notice is old and it has been revised into 1st PER which is more clear and informative.

Hello saurabh, My application reached on 20th May 2014. I also did not put names in native language. but I sent the first page of IMM5669 and IMM5406 forms on 23rd May & it reached on 28th May 2014 along with covering letter. I got PER yesterday. Some of forum members reported they got PER even the forgot to write name in native language. so don't worry about that. My suggestion is send the these forms again.
