Good morning,

My husband wll be applying for NOC 4011, due to slow processing of the university he studied in he hasn´t been able to send documents to WES. We calculate he will be applying around the 20th of october, do you think we still have time? How long those WES take? Calculating they are still working on may application, if applying in october his application will most likely be charged in January will this affect his application, will he fall into the express entry program on January 15th?

Thanks!!!

+1 for the cap update info.

Also +1 since you applied my NOC 2171 on the same day as mine. When Karma allows.

Hi Zstream,

Thanks and all the best to you too. I returned the favour (+1).

I have been following 2171 closely for the past few weeks. It is getting increased by 30 nos for the past 4-5 weeks. 30 nos per week will take 34 weeks to fill. Looks like we are in safe zone!! Whats your take?

+1 brother.

SS also updated (for the 2nd time today :-[ >:( ).

Cap Updated :D

So again this week cic have processed around 400+ applications. However the cc or dd charges were way below the number on the forum.
Makes me wonder if count update is at documents verification stage only. And not the cc or per. More hope for everyone??

The second segment above is the Original Post by the person who needs the question answered.

If you see the WES Report - on the Top it says "CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY". This Canadian equivalency summary, in my opinion and understanding, is the RESULT of an applicants Educational Credential Assessment which is derived by evaluating ALL his educational qualifications, and not in PART.

Now, WES has stated his "CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY" which is Bachelors Degree (Four Years) after evaluating both his credentials and not one of the two.

Unless the CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY segment of the WES Report is of no significance in your opinion, I do not see how the candidate will be awarded 22 points. In my opinion, the CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY must state "Two or more Canadian post-secondary degrees or diplomas" for the applicant to score 22 points, which it does not.

Again would like to mention that summary mentions only the recent and highest degree. Not all degrees.
Points will be 22 in this case for 2 bachelors degrees.

Of course, no one can say with certainty whether a person's application will reach CIO before the cap is reached. But, based on the number of applicants so far (35 as of date, according to the CIC cap update), it seems 4011 is not a hot occupation. It's best, however, to apply ASAP. But make sure that you don't sacrifice the accuracy of your application.

Good luck!

it states "Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship"

Is it the PER mail??????

File received date 16th May and CC charged on 26th Aug.
