Thanks but this for computer network technicians .. does it fit engineers as well ?

You need to check if you performed the duties listed under 2281 for at-least 1 Year in full-time or equal amount in part time.

If you did - then you are eligible for FSW 2014 AND the remaining exp. in 2147 will fetch you extra points.

Hi,

Out of curiosity, i am posting this message. i have sent my docket for NOC 1123 category on 10th August via DHL and the same was delivered to "NOVA SCOTIA AREA " on 13th August but i don't see the name of the person who received in proof of delivery. Is this something unusual? Do you guys think i should get in touch with DHL or CIC to check the status?

Regards,

Sorry, but I can't agree on this! Personally, I hold Master + MBA degrees and both were mentioned in ECA Summary.
Whatever the final score, I hope skquddusi overall score will allow him to get the 67 pts required wathever the score given by CIC for his education factor. In that way, the 21/22pts question would not become a real issue for him!!!

I have done masters and bachelors (both from WES recognised univs) and only masters is mentioned in summary.

In your case masters and MBA, both are equivalent to masters.

For your sake, I hope that 22 Points is not something you absolutely need to qualify for FSW 2014.

As it stands - WES has evaluated your credentials (both of them combined) as Canadian Equivalent of Bachelors Degree (Four Years) which gives you 21 Points.

Good Luck!

Dear nilesh

Read your 3-4 replies on the same topic and you are not ready to give 22 points in any situation (lol)

Don't know by the time you read this reply of mine , someone else might have educated you for the same

Let me do my part : this guy got 2 degrees 1: which got equivalent with 4 yrs bachelors and 2nd with 3 years equivalence. Now please re-do your calculations and share your part of wisdom ( 2 degrees )

P.s: I vote for 22 points

Friends,

I am new to this forum and I have a query -

I submitted reference letter from my supervisor for couple of organizations as roles & responsibilities letter. Do they really call and check with them about it?
Though I am fine with it, but if that's case, I would like to give heads up to them to avoid any communication gap.

Thanks in advance.

Hello All,
I can no longer find 2147 (Computer engineers ) on the Canadian eligible occupations which was the best fit for me, can you let me know what other options would be suitable for me ?
My work experience is based on Network Engineering Design, implementation & operation ( my current post is Technology Network Consultant)

Did you mean 2174?

It's best if you do. Did you BTW send it to 49 Dorchester Street and also write FSW and NOC code on the envelope?

k_b,
Oh dear, sorry for that.
Did they tell you any expected timeline for completion of the PCC process?

this must be because the passport issuance office and PCC issuance office are not in the same jurisdiction.

In such cases they wait for police verification to happen and only then issue PCC.

+1 Aman for that additional info - "verification will be done for PCC if not done within last 6 months"
Guessing that this might be a standard practice across India for PCC through PSK.

Not true. I got my PCC in 2 hrs though my passport was issued 4 years back and no police verification had been done in the interim. The reason was that the passport issuing office and PCC office were the same. In such cases, the PCC is provided upfront.
