Hi Everyone!

I would like to share something, it's kinds important.

Last week when we were about to mail our application, we were worried about lots of details, as many of you would have been or still are going through a similar experience. One thing I was not at all concerned was any issues with a courier service; I was planning to use DHL. I used DHL for WES and it had been smooth, speedy and well tracked.

But Nova Scotia is a different region and I never thought DHL doesn't have a service there; they deliver up to Ontario and not further instead they use a third party service from Ontario onward. My package reached on Tuesday the 2nd and that is when DHL last updated the status and since then it has been 'Forwarded for Delivery' and I am clueless about the present status of the courier. It is horrible; I never even thought I would be stuck with this, I was simply wondering if the CIC officials will have some issue or the other but this one is out of the spectrum.

Bottom line; use a service which has direct delivery in Canada and that is NOT DHL, I believe UPS is one of the companies which has such service in Canada. Do some research if you can. I am really worried now, it's been over a week and I have no clue at all about my package.

If anyone has some inputs on this, please share.

I have spoken to DHL India and DHL Canada (No help)
I have got the tracking ID of the third party which I am unable to track on their website. (Net Parcel)

Hi..

I have sent my file on 31 july and reached cic on 7th aug received by D.LEWIS. yesterday my consultant called up and said that few forms are being changed so to be on safer side we have to send the file again with changed forms. I am very much confused and heart broken can some one please advice me what to do. Should I go by the words of consultant and just wait and watch.

Ignore the consultant. You should be fine.

The sealed envelope prepared by Mumbai university for education verification only has stamp on the flap closure, no signature from officer. will that acceptable to WES?

Is it OK to receive the WES report by regular mail because I did not registered to pay 80$ extra will the report take longer to arrive.

better to pay extra and take option on International Courier rather than regular mail. Complete peace of mind.

On a serious note, why do you need a consultant ? I have hired one, but after joining this forum realised that people here understand things better than a consultant. So get tyour queries sorted out here and send the application on your own. no need for a consultant who will do nothing and charge a hefty fee.

Totally Agree with CanOl... Even I have hired a consultant ...but after joining this Forum...I regret!
