Please update folks in the forum how much time it takes to receive report by standard mail. Ideally one should spend that $80, it is worthwhile as most would agree. For some it has taken 2 months to get to India by standard mail.

its better to pay $ 80. otherwise it will take months, sometime the mail might be get lost!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the Medical Request and RPRF request yesterday. I am so excited. But I need some guidance folks.
My Daughter's passport is expiring in May 2015. My attorney says that the passport should be minimum 1 year valid at the time of Medical exam. I am currently in USA and to renew my daughter's passport from the New York Jurisdiction might take anywhere from 3 to 7 weeks. I have to get the PCC from USA and India done as well as my attorney says I have to get all this done in 60 days from now....

I am a bit worried and tensed. Help needed guys!!!!!

One Important note for all those who are striving for Reference letters from their current / previous employers. I want to tell you all that I was NOT ABLE to provide the reference letters in the format which is requested, Also, infact, I was unable to provide any reference letter on the letter head and with the manager's sign. All I did was I had submitted the Petition copy of my visa where all the things like the salary, designation and my job duties were mentioned clearly. I guess that I am thru. Atleast strongly hoping for that as I have received the medical request already!!!

Congrats for medical req

Hi folks,

Sad to learn of your bitter experience, mate. It is alright if people hold different opinion on a subject. As long as both thought process hold merit, it is okay. There is no one right way of doing things, as life teaches us all the time.

Abhinav has sent 'Office Shifting Notice' to all it clients and I am in receipt of such a letter. They have moved from a 2500 to a 5200 sq. ft. place in New Delhi within the same building. Similarly in Bangalore they are moving to a much bigger 2500 sq. ft. office from the earlier two tiny spaces they had in the same complex as their current office. In Hyderabad they are renovating that place completely as their letter says.

Not only have they sent this over e-mail but also via postal (aka snail) mail. If they weren't doing their job well, they wouldn't be growing is what I think. Can't fool people all the time and get away with it. Word of mouth feedback catches up soon. My experience with them has been alright so far.

As many other forumites have said here, my opinion is to always go for a professional immigration expert, one that can actually fill the representative form (if budget is not a constraint at one's end). This way we get a sanity check, from a seasoned professional expert, on our application.

Why do we earn money? I believe to be able to spend it on important activities in life, is my take. And this is one of the bigger decisions in life. But it is entirely up to an individual (as in their comfort) to decide what works best for them, so going either way is absolutely okay. It's not just my way or the highway LOL. Cheers!

PS - CIC doesn't treat applicants differently based on whether they do the application themselves or take an expert for this

I second this as i also have hired abhinav outsourcing and i have to say they are good :D

So far that is!

Hi Everyone!

I would like to share something, it's kinds important.

Last week when we were about to mail our application, we were worried about lots of details, as many of you would have been or still are going through a similar experience. One thing I was not at all concerned was any issues with a courier service; I was planning to use DHL. I used DHL for WES and it had been smooth, speedy and well tracked.

But Nova Scotia is a different region and I never thought DHL doesn't have a service there; they deliver up to Ontario and not further instead they use a third party service from Ontario onward. My package reached on Tuesday the 2nd and that is when DHL last updated the status and since then it has been 'Forwarded for Delivery' and I am clueless about the present status of the courier. It is horrible; I never even thought I would be stuck with this, I was simply wondering if the CIC officials will have some issue or the other but this one is out of the spectrum.

Bottom line; use a service which has direct delivery in Canada and that is NOT DHL, I believe UPS is one of the companies which has such service in Canada. Do some research if you can. I am really worried now, it's been over a week and I have no clue at all about my package.

If anyone has some inputs on this, please share.

P.S.

I have spoken to DHL India and DHL Canada (No help)
I have got the tracking ID of the third party which I am unable to track on their website. (Net Parcel)
