Can any of the NDVO APPLICANT who has received the MR Mail respond to the above query. I think it's an important update we need to know about.

One basic question to the NDVO applicants who have received MR- Does the 2nd line gets updated in the ECAS before receiving the MR mail or it gets updated only after the receipt of the mail? The line I am mentioning to us - we started processing your application on xxx. Please Do let us know.

Any luck with 7th to 8th May applicants who are yet to receive PER.....my buddy is going crazy with the waiit....for the senior citizens, did this happen last year....whats responsible for the long wait. Package has not been rejected nor returned.....ECAS still shows Application has been received....

Ok guys now is a new situation

i called dhl several times that they got bored and i insisted they either tell me what happened to my shipment or give me loomis tracking no ...a representative phoned me and told me to wait tell tomorrow and he will inform me of the situation of my shipment ...i totally refused and insisted he do this today so now the tracking all of a sudden changed from nova scotia sort office to delivered to sydney ???? Signed by ..........

no names for signature nor the proper address even when i send for the proof of delivery email ...it showed the same data

the question here is can i trust them ..can i trust that they updated my status in a hurry tell they get the complete route snd they are sure of the delivery

I had the same problem, status online showed signed by...nobody
I sent them an email and they answered the next day telling me the person who received my package

Tell them to check the spam / junk folder...also try to contact CIC...

Please also check if an email was missed from WES stating CIC needs access to the educational docs...we had one case report PER today from 7th May and that was his case

Does Cic ceck that applicant educational background must be related to profession.

Nothing is sure with NDVO they started with 5th and 7th may applicant first........

For those who got the MR, can you tell me how many days you were given e.g. 60 days? Also please let me know if this includes the time to send your results to the CIC or just that you have 60 days to report to a DMP.

60 days: MR, PCC, & RPRF
30 days/60 Days*: PPR

* Some VO give 60 days time frame for PP submission while some gives 30 days.

Looks good...but I would advise adding a few more lines...because the duties would seem to be very limited in number (try checking the job duties on for the NOC and may be you will remember a few more that you can add...)

How many points should an ideal LOR have? These are 12 points. Max I am think of is 15 points. The 3 I may add would be redundant anyway!

Anyone from Delhi; who had sent their application via DHL courier. How many days do they take to deliver at Nova Scotia? I called them and they told me they deliver only till Ontario and from there they have a third party who delivers further instead of DHL? I'm kinda irritated, Anyone any ideas. It's been 5 days now.

Thanks for the quick reply. I sent the bank statement with a balance of $100K with history of 6 months with my application. The fund is in the form of money in my account at a Canadian bank. I intend to send an updated bank statement, but what would be the document for the source of fund?

Hi googler,

As you have $100K in the account that too just lying around in savings, i believe CIC wants to validate these funds. I suggest you provide proof of how this money got accumulated in this account. If this was mainly due to your salary credits, then show salary slips ranging of periods more than 6 months so that it at least covers 60% of the funds in your account.

CIC is mainly concerned in knowing the money showing in the account is legal and solely yours (or your spouse if applicable) and is not borrowed.

Im 8th May 2014, DD applicant. I got PER on 14th August 2014. Currently, my ECAS status is "In Process". Can anyone tell me what does "In Process" means and what will be the next step? If they will request for Medical then for how long do i have to wait for it now?

Need some information!!

In my marriage certificate, I adopted my husband's name as an extension and dropped my surname. It would be stupid to admit, but I had to do it because of Registrar. He was adamant to write something in the column "After marriage" and convinced us, it wouldn't change anything for me and we were in "Just-in-case" needed mindset. My passport has my original name, my husband's name is also listed in my passport and I would like to keep my maiden sur-name for life-time.

Would it be a problem to list my original name (I would be principal applicant) as we would be submitting marriage certificate for proof of relationship. Should I submit any affidavit along with application, indicating no name change? or should I indicate new name in alias column? Thanks in advance.

Add an affidavit, explaining this in detail. If this name with changed surname is not used by you for any other document accept your marriage certificate, then its not required to be added as alias name. Just mention in affidavit, all details and all names in docs all are the names of the same person and that is you.
