Thanks Sherdillssherdills said:Answer to first question is, apply one application where you can both claim maximum points.
Your understanding for second is correct.
Thanks SapsSaps said:Sam,
Your chances are maximised with the Wife's app as a principal applicant as she is not part of the hot NOC.
NOC 1112 is the second hottest NOC, so no point applying through the husband. Also CIC rules state only one app for a family of husband and wife.
PCC is not mandatory to be sent with the initial app package. And yes, if you have lived in any country for a period of more than 6 months at a stretch, then you would have to get the PCC of that country.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!!

1.will we fit in the 1000 cap
2.we are from india.so do we need to submit notarized docs or simply photocopies
3.we are a family of 4 and currently only my wife will apply.so we are taking a dd of 550CAD.will this create a prob as only she is applying.
Good point , at least for the super Hot NOC's like 2174 and 1112romar said:Hello everybody,
Looking into the latest cap update on the CIC website, and noticing how the experts in this forum are not sure whether the hot NOC's will close by mid June or by last July, I wonder how any of those experts feel when they take a look into the seriously misleading estimated dates in the "Apps by NOC Cap estimates" sheet of the SS.
Please correct this as soon as possible. Don't give people false hopes.

The checklist mentions " If the visa office you have specified for processing your application is not the visa office responsible then provide proof that you have been lawfully admitted to a period of one year to the country for which u have specified visa office is responsible"Oscar7 said:If you are the principal applicant and have stayed in Canada for 1 year you can select CPC- Ottawa office
As per my understanding, Whether u accompany her or not, u have to pay the fees for spouse and dependent children. PR is issued for the whole family.marmstrong said:Hey thanks for the msg
for answer 3 ,
we have required funds in our account.i am only asking about fees.initially only my wife will apply and we three will join her later. As per my understanding,we should pay only her fee only as we r not applying now.
can someone please suggest on this.
