nskatcv and oscar 7 thanx a lot for the replies.

Afghan embassy people refused to give the PCC saying that they dont have any procedure like this.

Even i also a post of a lady from Dubai how was also not getting the PCC from some African country. :(

Did they just say this to you over the phone, or replied via email or a letter ? That letter itself can be submitted to CIC in that case.

Regards

Dear Bloggers,

1 )How long does the PCC should be valid before submitting to VO...??

2 ) At the moments i have having second thoughts about Toronto....how could i select city where i want to settle down.Meanings, where to look for Pros and Cons of cities that might be my second home.

3 ) As i have heard, once landed Immigration officer would ask me to mention an address where PR cards should be sent to.For me,i don't have relatives in Canada, and would like to return back to my home country after my landings formalities are completed...How could i PR cards be received ??

plz advice

@ shahzadpir

If u have funds over & above the required amount u can use it, even if u have shown them as settlement funds.

I think u r family of 3 , which requires CAN $ 18,097 as settlement funds . U have $ 20,000 ........ u can easily use $ 2,000 (even up to 4,000-5,000 if u are able to save enough amount so tht u have required amount ($ 18,100 in this case) over next 2-3 months.

P.S: If u r a family of 2, u just need to maintain CAN $ 14,720

Thanks for your prompt and positive reply. I see that I am left with no choice but to borrow money from some friends.

Secondly, when you say "All banks", will that include any bank which I am using for Money transfer only.

For example, apart from Riyad Bank, I have an other account in NCB bank which is basically like Money transfer bank like western union. Lets say on monthly basis I am depositing 1200$ and immediately transferring it into my Home country accounts. I am not sure whether it is really required to be shown. What do you suggest?

Hello

I received ECA evaluation and it says "Associate's Degree(Two Years) from a recognized university."

I have a Bachelors of Arts(B.A.) from Pakistan(Bahauddin Zakriya University,Multan) which was for two years(Total 14 years of education) but the assessment says that it is equivalent to associate's degree. According to CIC table, it gives me 19 points for education but because my B.A. is not recognized as a B.A. in Canada, does it automatically make me ineligible to apply as a FSW?

1. at least 9 months.
2. See this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/before-city.asp
3. Not sure. Can't they just mail those at your chosen address. If not, post office may be able to forward it to you.

Regards

Thanks bro.....

It doesn't make you ineligible, just gives you lesser points. If you are able to make to the tally of 67, you shall be fine.

There is a forms download page that states the date the form was issued. Check there and make sure you have the most recent one.

Thanks. I don't see any docs updated in the month of July, so i guess i am good. I sent my application in the first week of August, so i just scanned the docs updated in August, and am not able to spot any major difference.

+1 for your help

You should be good to apply in November as the NOC has just filled cap for 23 applications. Go ahead and gather all remaining docs meanwhile.
