Guys I need an urgent help. I am a 13th June applicant (NOC: 2171). In May I had got my ECA done from WES and sent 1 copy (original) to CIC. Though I am an MBA + BTech, my ECA stated equivalency to Canadian 4 years bachelors. Since 21 points (related to this ECA) was sufficient for me to apply, I applied with this ECA report. I was a little surprised not to find any mention of my MBA degree in ECA but I was aware that it was a non-recognized university for WES (and maybe they do not mention non-recognized unvis on ECA report). However, I did raise a question through WES portal regarding this.

Today, I received a revised copy of my ECA which has two education details mentioned (BTech and MBA) !!! MBA degree is mentioned as "One-Year post secondary study at a non-recognized institution". This ECA report clearly mentions "Revised Evaluation Report (Original completed on May 22, 2014)". Since I won't be getting any additional points (and I really don't need it), should I still send this revised evaluation report to CIC along with a cover letter? If yes, what are the details I should mention on the cover letter (and on the envelope)?

I can see this revised report online on WES portal. Wouldn't this be visible to CIC folks?
Yes, CIC can see the revised report as well. IMO, it is unnecessary to send the report again. Please consider other advises as well. Good luck.

Since you are already above passing marks it won't matter as 67 is only required...

Moreover, CIC never guarantees any additional document sent by applicant will be attached to original application....

but still you can give it a shot by mentioning your DOB, passport number on cover letter explaining the situation..and also sending an email with same..

Dear friends

1.Just wondering if someone can apply only under the 50 eligible NOCs for FSW. For example I am applying under NOC 0113-Purchasing manager. Will it be possible for me to apply under a related job to purchasing manager but at a junior level which is NOC 1225- Purchasing Officer (I worked in this Category before becoming purchasing manager)
The reason for asking is that I got more experience in NOC 1225 than the curent one NOC 0113

2. Any ideas how many applications submitted so far for NOC 0113- Purchasing manager?

Ishak

Can you share the e-mail id of CIC?

Another question, what do we write on the envelope containing the cover letter (apart from CIC postal address) so that they understand this is not an application but a cover letter?

1225 is not eligible so that cannot be your Primary NOC. If NOC 1225 is listed under skill type 0,A,B then you can claim points for it. As long as you have a continuous 1 year full-time or equivalent part time paid exp. in 0113 and your ref. letters are good it should not really matter applying under 0113.

I am planning to apply for 2173 very soon. I did my own math for estimating number of applications that would have been filed by now from SS and CIC.

SS - Out of 257 SS applications 80 (257-75-102) applications were awarded PER.
CIC -Out of how many XX applications 188 PER got awarded?

XX = 257/80*188 = 604 applications must have been already received by CIC

On top of this 604, I don't know how much uncertainty factor I need to multiply with. But, good news is even if I use as high as 50 percent it is coming to 906 which seems to me that I can make it :D.

What do you say?

Yes buddy...No harm to apply.....

Give a shot ...:)

Good luck...

Century

I have received the PER mail 29th august. VO is Singapore.
Can u tell me when they are going to ask for PCC?
In my case it will take more than one month to get PCC.

Brother,

It may take over a year to be asked for PCC...

Almost none of the FSW13 applicants has rcvd PCC request from SG....

So no need to worry....Even if u require more time then the given time from SG, u can request them for time extension.....they accept such request.....In tht case submit the proof of the PCC app_ money rcpt others on the requesting time....:)

No need of separate description as long as the job description is same and as long as the dates are mentioned time wise.

+1 to u buddy for the assistance!

App receive date..
NoC..
Your name..
PP number..
DoB....
