Dear all,

I have applied in 2012 in 1122 but file was returned due to cap reached. Now i want to apply for another catagory with the reference letter from the same employer who issued me letter for 1122. He is ready to issue the reference letter as per the current catagory. Do you think CIC will have my previous records and it will contradict as the reference letter was issued by the same employer.

Thanks in advance.

If your application was returned due to cap it is very unlikely that they have records of your application. However you should still fill out your application honestly and obtain honest reference letters. Getting a contradictory letter from the same employer sounds like you are committing a misrepresentation. Not something someone committed to GOD (I am referring to your signature) would do, is it?

Hi,

I'd like to know if a photocopy of bank passbook (savings account) showing the latest balance and bank certificate of Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) can be considered as proof of fund and settlement fund for Canada?

Yes, so long as you are free to withdraw the UITF whenever you wish.

@Ashif_eee

Century just explained it few hrs ago

The top 4 Slowest animals on earth have "S" at the start namely:
1. Snail
2. Slugs
3. Starfish
4. Sloth:

Another "thing" that is very slow and start with "S" is SGVO.

dear seniors i have a question

does VO checks all the job references, i am concerned as one of my employers went back corrupt and closed down in 2013 so they do not exist any more (no website, no email address and no phones) what happens with this sort of things.

Thanks in advance

VOs sometimes check your references. If a company no longer exists I suggest explaining this in your application.

@ shah,

Wake up !!

"HE" has been interacting on the Forum quite often when "HE" was preparing filing "HIS" Application for PR.
How come "HIS" gender is changed in.. last ~ 2 months ?

It seems everybody is obsessed with the fairer sex on the Forum these days :P

For me, it is not just on the forum, and not just these days. :P

It is Slow probably because Singapore starts with the same letter as slow. Try renaming it Fingapore, and you might make it Fast. :P

Hi,

I am ready with all my documents except my employer reference letter. I am bit confused whether it is compulsory to submit the reference letter from all the employer under which i worked. Or is it ok to submit only the latest employer reference letter for whom i worked more than 4 years? I worked for a small company for 6 months before the current one and there is no way i can get a reference letter from them.

I am claiming points for my work experience and i was thinking the latest exp. will be enough. please help me if you think otherwise.

If you don't submit a reference letter, you won't get points for that experience. So if you submit the 4 year employer reference letter you will get credit for 4 years of experience.

The checklist asks for letters from all previous employers for the past 10 years. If there is one you cannot obtain, at least explain why to CIC.
