[size=9pt] Hi, No after the initial online request and fee payment mine too came via UPS. I meant I gave my e-mail ID to WES rather than that of a consultant; sorry about the confusion there. I don't recall the exact amount but it was the FSWP package payment - not sure if it was like CAD 180 or CAD 280, something like that. Trust that helps! :)

PS - Let me see if I can login again there to check on the amount.

+1 for all the pains you had to take for me.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

No. To choose a visa office you must be legally admitted to that country for a year. Visiting does not count as legally admitted. Legally admitted means you are allowed to reside there temporarily on some kind of visa such as a work or student visa.

That is right, I applied from Vancouver on 20th July 2014 while I was on a visitor Visa and chose NDVO !

Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum.. my significant other is currently living in Scotland. Since I am a Canadian citizen and the opportunities are better in Canada then in Scotland we are trying to figure out how he can immigrate to Canada. He has a college HND diploma, a BSC and an MSC all in forestry (with specialization in fields such as soil science, aquaculture, agriculture etc). Ideally we would like to settle in Ontario as that is where myself and my family live. I am really unsure about the best way to go about doing this as the Canadian Immigration website is so confusing- I am basically at a loss! I would like to avoid sponsorship or marriage just to get him over. He would also like to try to do it on his own. The whole process is just so confusing! If anyone could give me ay advice I would be very grateful!

Samantha

If he qualifies under FSW it's probably under 0811. If not, he could try getting a job, applying for a PhD program and then going through PhD stream or at least you'd have a while during his studies to get married, or possibly a provincial nominee program. Check those out. Good luck!

With this rate i think 2174 will just get filled by the time cic processes June applicants, Worried :-[ :-[ :-[

Hello All,

Good to see members getting the PER soon after being charged... Congrats to all who go the success till now and all the best for the rest like me..:)

Anyhow can anyone please help me by updating the last CC/DD charge date/ last application date processed??

Also I really fail to understand the footnote in the latest update of CIC which states "The number of complete federal skilled worker applications received since May 4, 2014 is an estimate."... what does it actually mean??

CAp updated : 1891/25000

Worried now....

Hi...
how much is the expected time to get MR frm NDVO after PER.

I see only 1 person in the SS who has been asked for MR yet from NDVO.
