Hi Guys!

Request your opinion. I have lost my 10th and 12th certificates in a freakish accident recently and have filed for new certificates, yet to receive the same. At the same time, I am unable to procure a birth certificate too as my birth was not registered at that time. Can I use my passport along with PAN card and drivers licence for DOB proof? Or is there any other alternative to this?

This is the only thing pending, else i could send my file tomorrow. Please advise.

I am sure this question would have been answered before but I have checked quite some and couldnt find the answer.

I dont have Birth certificate. Would Xth marksheet suffice?

Also, for Police certificate, do I need it only for myself or for my accompanying spouse as well?

Use affidavit in conjunction with your Xth Marksheet for DOB.
PCC will be required for PA+All Accompanying Dependents > 18 yrs age.

Seniors I need some advice I applied for a student visa 2 yes back but it was refused after that I started working I now want to apply for pr as I have eligible points would my earlier refusal affect my pr application?

It depends on why you were refused.

There is a question on your background declaration form that asks whether you have ever been refused a visa and if so give full details. Just explain as much as you know about the situation. They may not have told you why you were refused and if so you can just say so. Trying to hide your refusal is an automatic rejection, and they have the records, so just be honest about it.

I don't think so, but there may be some batch processing that automatically runs at night or on weekends.

But given that WES states the Canadian Equivalency Summary as "Master's Degree" I think it's 23. I'm not sure though!

Yday I received WES report ....I couldn't understand the report ...I wanted to know the final points of my report.

I did 2 yrs Masters ....

Report :Canadian equivalence is four yrs bachelors ....So how many points it vl constitute.

No..

You cannot definitively answer no. If a visa was rejected for security reasons it sure as heck will impact any future application.

That poster later answered it was due to court mismatch (student visa) so I think we can confidently say no. But we can never be sure.

Guys, is there any reported case of credit card being charged and app rejected on FSW2014?

You mean before or after PER?

Before PER, I believe it has happened once but it is rare.

After PER we don't have enough people there yet to see any cases. But PCCs, MRs, POF and employment verification may result in a small number of rejections at the local VO stage.

Thank you for the suggestion, can you please elaborate a bit more on the content of the declaration? Should it just state that I was born on so and so date and my parents are so and so.......... or it should also state the reason why I am unable to produce a birth certificate.

I have received a mail from cic on 22 July when I inquired about my case and they said we have received your file and it's in initial waiting process when I didn't hear any news till 13 aug then I mailed again

Friends i am collecting documents for FSW1 but after verifying experience documents i came to know that one of the previous
company is now closed down and there is no existence of it.

But fortunately i have salary slips,appointment letter and experience certificate...

So do i need to put any thing else apart from it.
