To Pandu123
regarding PCC.
Do you need to have same address on your address proof and Passport?
I also read that Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) will be issued on the same day at PSK if PCC is requested in respect of the existing passport. BUT I think in that case you PSK lies in same jurisdication of your passport office.

My passport issued office and present city are different. Can you advise?

I thought of hiring agent but what you suggesting is good. Can you please provide all the steps which you followed for PCC.

Mubarak! :)

Congratulation. Great news.
15th May started.

Gotta admit the amazing accuracy of the SS prediction. Its bang on target. Here is some back of the envelope number crunching. Given that the apps recvd per day, started to slack after the 14th, one can expect CIC to process at a faster rate.

Apps received at CIC per day Date Range App count on last day of dt range % contribution
49 May 1st 14 days 689 36.79%
20 May last 16 days 998 53.28%
18 June 1st 16 days 1285 68.61%
13 June last 14 days 1453 77.58%
10 July 1st 15 days 1608 85.85%
9 July last 16 days 1757 93.81%
8 Aug first 15 days 1873 100.00%

Gentlemen and Gentlewomen :) I have written out stages from what I have seen on the forum but I need more details and would therefore request your comments on the article on what you have noticed and experienced.

Looks good dear. Keep going.
Also update the charged date to 15th May

Ok thanks, I'm just overthinking everything. Thanks.

Hi Sparkfire,
You can get the answer from Documents Checklist form
" You are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, we recommend that you take steps to obtain your police certificates now to avoid delays. You must be ready to submit them when requested by an officer. "
So dont worry.. You will be asked to submit PCC during later stages of the process

Here it is
"Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one"

Dear Friends,

I want your help regarding PCC, I have collected 3 PCCs... but I am afraid that CIC may not accept it because of their issuance date:

1. PCC from Country A was issued May 6, 2014
2. PCC from Country B was issued on June 8, 2014
3. PCC from USA was issued on October 24, 2013

I will send the PCCs to the embassy next week.... Which of the above will be accepted?

Jamal

Good day!

I'm a bit worried. I'm a May 14th applicant and paid through DD but still I don't have any idea on my papers. :'( :'( :'(

[size=9pt] The question is if a rent agreement exists LOL

Rent Agreement is anyways not accepted as a proof of residence while applying for a PCC from a non-permaneny address. You need either:

1. Broadband/ Internet bill in your name.
Or
2. A bank account with current Gurgaon address but ONLY a PSU Bank (SBI, Bank of India etc.)

Good thing is that your NOC is not hot and very unlikely to be filled up.

What I suggest, send additional document with cover letter though no guarantee whether it will be added or not . After it reached by CIO, send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca . Hopefully within 40 days, they will respond whether your file has been attatched or not. Depend on this response, you have to take separate action plan.
