Yes, be positive and have patience, you will hear PER soon

Period of stay isn't mentioned as it is not for a particular address. Issued date is mentioned in the PCC. I haven't applied for PCC yet but you can search for it's format online

what about 'period of stay' and when was it issued ?
btw, have u seen it or do you also have similar PCC from Pun. 8)

Regards,

Generally PCC validity is for 6 months. You'll need to send it either with ur application or when asked by Local VO after PER.

Dear Seniors,

I have some doubts about PCC and POF as well.

1.Yesterday I visited Local SP office(M.P) for PCC but I was really disappointed with the response of them, local police say that PCC will be issued only by passport office and if, they get request from Immigration dept.(Letter from immigration requesting PCC) then they will issue.
So my question is should I apply online in passportindia.gov.in if Yes then does it work for Canada FSW or should I wait for request from immigration for PCC.
I guess PCC can be availed before the request from VO right? .

2. For POF if I deposit money in FD today and take the FD certificate after 2 or 3 days , does it work for POF.

Pls clarify seniors members from india.

@itsmerags
Not sure if anyone has answered your query.

Ref PCC : Applying via the Passport office and getting a PCC is perfectly fine. One can obtain it directly from the Dy Comm or via the Passport office.

Ref POF : FD's are a legitimate way showing POF. This option is listed on the CIC website. You may or may not be asked for a statement by the Country Visa office, but that is much later.

Disclaimer : I am no expert, just someone who has been through the filing and therefore has read the CIC website quite thoroughly.

PCC through Passport Seva Kendra is the best way.. I got it on the same day.. First you have to register online in Passport Seva Kendra.. then choose Police Clearance Certificate .. fill up online form and schedule time to appear in the nearest Passport Seva Kendra .. you have to pay 500 rupees online.. You will be asked to select the country for which you are applying, then you can select Canada..
Documents you may need are 1) your passport copy 2) Address proof copy .. Get originals along with you

2. For POF if I deposit money in FD today and take the FD certificate after 2 or 3 days , does it work for POF.
that wont be a problem (VO may ask you the source of these funds, so better have an affidavit prepared that you got this money from your parents/in-laws as gift deed) .. Also make sure you maintain the funds throughout the process either till you land in Canada or your case is rejected .. Because VO may ask you to provide proof of your funds anytime during the process

Is it really allowed not to include police clearance in application?
I been viewing spfeadsheet and a minority did not include PCC yet been processed.

Anyone there who received PER without PCC?

Please comment. Need help.

Hi bros,

I have sent my application two days ago and I have one doubt. I am claiming points for a relative in Canada (My maternal uncle) **I still calculated 69 points without the 5 points for relative.. So claiming total 74 points including relative** I have submitted the following documents for relative:
-Copy of my uncle's Canadian passport
-Copy of my uncle's birth certificate
-Copy of my mum's birth certificate
-Copy of his tenancy contract
-Copy of his most recent tax notification from Canadian tax authority

In my birth certificate my mum's name is written as Hindia Maalim Ali while in my mum's BC, her name is written as Hindia Maalim Alio the same as with my uncle's BC. The only difference is the "O" and I have not submitted any affidavit or cover letter for that. Could that be a problem?

I will advice to get it from Haryana, subit your rent agreement if required.

If things dont work then try to get PCC from Punjab.

I dont think that there will be any problem..
