How do you check your status on ECAS? I found out that some people are awaiting their PER but can still check their status. Do we get our file number or UCI before our CC is debited?

I would like to share the happy news of PER Email that I received 30 minutes back.

App Recieved: 09-May
NOC: 3142
DD Encashed as per PER: 21-July
DD Encashed as per Bank: 28-July

I wish every applicant goodluck for application processing.

[size=9pt] Yes you can do that and then scan the stuff you send physically this time and also send same via email to CIC and in the email tell them about the courier tracking details and approximate arrival date at CIC of the second packet. Most importantly ask them a confirmation that the later sent material has been added to package. And yes give a lot of details about the first packet like date of arrival, NOC code, your full name, passport # and date of birth etc etc

You can try that with a new letter...and please copy and paste all this I now typed somewhere with you

Just a word of caution here...recently a friend sent his payment details through courier and also sent email (scanned copy of the payment form) as his CC info changed but the surprise was when someone tried to do online shopping using his CC details from the email he sent to CIC . However, since it was not a transaction under a merchant it required an OTP which saved him...so be careful there is someone with a bad soul in CIC...

Those applicants had previously applied ....that us why they are having UCI/file number which is the min requirement to see online ECAS status....

To check ECAS you need to have a UCI number. If you are a first time applicant to CIC you will get this in your PER email.

If the points are <67, they will surely send back your application, this time give your best shot and try to get as many points as possible.

Hello as I've sent my application at the end of June 2014 under 2173 noc most probably it will be received by now. Currently i don't know what is the status of my application. At that time my points were 66 so on 2nd of August i've given the IELTS exam again and score in each module:
L: 6.5
R: 7.0
W: 6.5
S: 6.5
So now if i calculate I'm getting
Experience: 11 pts (3 years)
Education: 21 pts (BE 4 years Engineering Degree)
English: 21pts
Blood Relation: Yes
Age: 12pts (Age=25)

My query is can i apply again a new application for 2173 noc or should i sent my IELTS exam Report. Please i need an urgent response on this.

Sending your IELTS on its own is "possible" as someone today on this forum mentioned that they sent additional documents and they got PER today. Having said that, I think IELTS results are material/significant to any application that if by any chance they are not joined with your original application then you will be rejected. My suggestion would be to send in a new application or alternatively get two original copies of your IELTS results and sent one as additional documentation and use the other one for a new application ASAP. At least you would have covered both bases.
