[size=9pt] Yes, unfortunately as shared with Max_ash like 10-15 pages ago it will not get much special treatment in terms of faster processing. The only benefit will be no settlement funds needed and flexibility to apply in just about any NOC. Cheers! :)

So essentially when anyone else (from the same geographical region) gets a PER they are pretty much at par, as those offices are working at a fast speed anyways.

Yes no special treatment from CIO or CPC Ottawa once it gets there, I just do not need to fill in the assets sections as that's so time consuming lol, I could apply in any NOC but bearing in mind Im an Insurance Adjuster I do not have much choice other than 1312...lol

Patience, my friend, patience!

Best of luck!

Patience is not one of my strongest attributes :P

Do you mean you can apply in ANY NOC if you have a job offer??

Do you mean that, if called for interview, "female" applicants have to appear without make-up??? This will cause problem when interviewer will try to match the pic with the gal sitting in front of him/her. Remember, "photo specific" does not require "without make-up" photo's.

Shah, pls follow the trail (quoted text), it's a ongoing joke on the lighter side of all the waiting, anxieties and tension going on. Always follow the complete conversation, half knowledge is always more harmful.. or if you were also joking then it's fine!! pushed me on a back seat for a while!! notice the extra smilies!! ;)

GUYS - JUST A SUGGESTION - OPT IN OR OUT ..

This thread seems to be growing +++ and most of the posts are unrelated.. if those posting can make it easier to type logical questions and ask specific queries limiting number of pages - whole thread should become useful and easy for all to fetch answers and avoid multiple postings

again its just my view

good luck all

fyi - those requiring specific answers to gcms, b'f dates, processing explanation, feel free to ask and again kindly limit to logical questions..

@ acrossborder,

Here's another solution to your worry that HR may not be able to answer technical questions about your job:

Why don't you attach the business card of your manager/ supervisor to your job reference letter and put a small note identifying the person on the business card as your manger/ supervisor and requesting all technical queries about the job that you performed be forwarded to him/her?
This is a good solution. What I did was I told HR to mention the name and designation of my Manager in the reference letter which they did "He reports to Mr. A Senior Manager Finance" so I am attaching his business card.

Suggestion is very nice. But we are already past Stage III now, so difficult to change course. :P

I also once gave this suggestion, perhaps after Stage I or II.

PL NOTE THIS

There are different ECU depts that are meant to work on categories of files that are submitted

Each categories have their own inventory

In comparison to AEO files and FSW1 files - each of these processing times differ to a great extent and certain mandatory clauses does differ tooo

let me know if anyone need specifics

Makes sense Shah2014!!

I guess the point is we are just trying to figure out if there is separate team at CIC for screening applications specifically for Arranged Employment category,CEC and regular FSW applications..... if yes, the conclusion would be, one can expect faster processing as throughout the year the number of applications received in CEC, or Arranged employment class or PhD is less as compared to FSW(without job offer) applications.

But looks like it doesn’t goes that way. Still not sure if there are separate team at CIC looking at applications based on the category(CEC, FSW-with job offer, FSW-w/o job offer, Phd)

Anyways thanks for your inputs Shah2014 and Oscar7!!

@ Oscar7

I understand that common sense prevails and i might not be that endowed with it.......... but in most cases the person wud be in Canada, if

1. he has post work study permit (Won't Qualify under Arranged Employment, as he will be getting PR under CEC after completion of 1 yr work, while work permit will expire after 2-3 years)

2. He is working on Temporary Work Permit (in this case, he has got job from outside and then came on temporary W.P)

Situations where someone can get Arranged Employment from outside Canada

1. Working for Canadian Company in your home country and get transferred to Canada
2. Some software developer comes to Canada for on-site (on less than 1 yr work permit... so not qualify for CPC-O :P) and either manages to impress his seniors or find a job
3. You have some skill, which is not easily available inside Canada
4. Hire a recruitment consultant and Pay him hefty fee (under the table as legally not allowed)

So, Although YES there is a higher probability of someone being already inside CANADA........ but other cases may have higher higher probability then 10% lets say 11% or 12% ;)

P.S: Why are we so concerned abt it????

:)
Brother Oscar was just trying to explain it in more detail :)
Thanks guys for throwing your thoughts in!!

+1 for both :)

+1 for the support, otherwise brother Oscar7 had totally demoralized me, i lost my self confidence ............ j.k

P.S: CIC is more like a black box, no one knows whts inside, we can just try to speculate based on available evidences
