[size=9pt] One of the three pillars of the FSW application is that the reference letter / experience letter, containing details of the duties performed (along with other asks in the work experience section of the document checklist) as per one's NOC. There have been a few rejections on this basis so the ask is that it should match quite well (unless of course one turns out to be lucky).

In case HR is not issuing letter one can get it on A4 paper from a senior / supervisor though. Also good to get their business card and provide additional supporting documents for the job.

It is believed that for PhD guys Canada is willing to make an exception with even a lesser match but not so much for people who don't have either a job in Canada yet or a PhD degree. Not sure how true this is but have heard this. Good luck on the reference letter guys!

ًthere are 3 fields for prrof of fund

asset
liabillities
settelment funds

which box should i use to add the amount of proof of fund. i have only 17K in my bank account.

should i use box one (asset) or three (settelment funds )

You need to list your assets, liabilities and available settlement funds in the 3 boxes respectively.

Finally I got my PER mail

First I thought it was a regular news from cic, but the email id was something different, I opened it and was surprised to see that it was a PER Mail. I was shocked in the beginning, then I checked my name and address and then confirmed it as my PER.

Congratulations to all who got PER and All the best for those waiting.

Hi Forumites, got a mail from my consultant yesterday that my application was returned as the visa officer was not satisfied with my supporting documents for my NOC 1112.

When I read the CIO letter, it stated "... I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as described of the NOC 1112..."

My question is do they need other evidence apart from work reference letter?

I intend to submit another application under 1212 as soon as possible.

Any idea guys?

Sorry to hear this.

I sent nothing other than reference letters and got PER. So we can say that they don't need anything else, though other supporting documents could be helpful.

The problem with your application wasn't enough documents, it was that the reviewer did not take from your letters that you performed enough of the duties to be considered employed under 1112. The lead statement (top paragraph of the page, what you might think of as the introduction) and the job duties are most important. The reviewers do not understand technical jargon or abbreviations specific to the fields (especially finance and IT) and you cannot assume that they know what an employee does in any particular NOC. They are looking for the key words contained in the NOC description itself, without it being too obvious of a cut and paste job. It is a tick the boxes exercise.
