Hi amit....Dont loose hopes. I mentioned my thoughts.

1. L-6.5,R-6.5,W-7,S-7 => Points as 4+5+6+6 = 21 - how CIC put wrong calculation or is there anything...dont know :o :o
2. May be your experience is less than 6 years at the time of your application reached. thats y they mentioned as 13 points. if u re-apply now then this will be 15 points

i hope so.may be i go for ielts test again.next date is 9 sept.result will be on 21 sept.its too late.who knows what will be result more or less...
but are you sure i will get 15 points for experience now(6+ years).my joining date is 03-aug-2008.

guys need your honest answers...

1.., ielts test L-6.5,R-6.5,W-7,S-7 how much point should i get.CIO give me 20 points and as you all know my case rejected by 1 point.i was on 67 point.

2.. my NOC-1114,i joined in 03-aug-2008 present company.CIO give me 13 points for 5 years expereince.now today is 12 aug-14. is this i completed 6+ years expericence to claim 15 points in experience.thn my total will be 68....

only good thing is my noc-1114.till now have 5 application.may be 50 more under review in this noc.....
if i recollect all my docs and send new application again.it will cost me atleast 5,6 days to arrange.

whats your hope for points 1 and point 2.both are above mentioned.

Sad to hear about your NER, but try to apply for GCMS notes. VO by law has to mention each and everything regarding your case file in GCMS, and in mean time start preparing another application. Consult an immigration lawyer as soon as you have your GMCS notes and file an appeal. You can still make it to Canada. :)

Sorry to hear your news. In my opinion they have calculated the points correctly. Your IELTS score corresponds to CLB Level 8. If you look at this link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-language.asp the point awarded for each category is 5. That means 4*5=20. Please correct me if I am wrong.
How did you arrive at 21 points?

Amit's listening score is 6.5; so it makes his CLB actually 7. So, CIO should give him 4*4=16.??

It is not correct interpretation.

You're good to go. Include a cover letter with your new application stating precisely how many points you expect to receive and why.

Hello Guys, Good work is going on the forum.
Lot's of people are blessed and lot's wating ;D ;D..

While I am preparing my file, I have a question about Payment form. Please help.

My spouse is the Principal applicant and a I am using my CC for payment.

We have same address but on my CC the address is different. So in Section A of the form where it says "Address of payer (if different from principal applicant"); Should I fill the address on CC or leave it blank. Just very confused.
Don't want to give CIC an idea of two addresses for the case.

Please suggest.

Also attach print out of IELTS to CLB level from CIC website, and in that Highlight the points you should be receiving towards your IELTS score.

yes...u get 15 points (3-aug-2008 to 3-july-2014 is 6 years ) (3-july-2014 to till now is 1 and half month) so it is 6+.
suppose if CIC take 3-aug-2008 to 3-aug-2014 is 6 years means then also your are eligible for 15 points because it is 6 years 10 days.

Seniors please correct me if i am wrong

I know that this is not the right discussion forum for my question, but I wasn't able to find anywhere else where I can ask my question.

So help me guys if you can.

I am a recent immigrant to Canada, I landed on July 22nd, 2014. I am currently residing in Calgary. I am going through a job interview which requires me to go to US for 2 month training and come back to Calgary to join their Canada Team.

What Visa do I require to go to US to attend my training ? Would attaining a B1 Visa would solve my problem? If not, what kind of Visa do I need to apply. I still have my final round of interview to be held but I want to be safe in case I get this opportunity.

Thanks in advance for your help.

we can provide points in the cover letter except IELTS points. because one of the forum member got rejected because of IELTS point. eventhough he got more than 20 points, but they rejected. he got 5L+6R+6S+4W. he got low in writing.....It depends on CIC evaluation

If you dont do any productive work in US means B1 should do
