Are they still going through may 13 applicants for cc/dd charge or have they passed that date.God at tjiscrate I wonder when they will encash fee for june 30 applicants?
If I am correct then applications are assessed based on the time they were received. That would indeed make it 13 points.pappusampath said:yes...u get 15 points (3-aug-2008 to 3-july-2014 is 6 years ) (3-july-2014 to till now is 1 and half month) so it is 6+.
suppose if CIC take 3-aug-2008 to 3-aug-2014 is 6 years means then also your are eligible for 15 points because it is 6 years 10 days.
Seniors please correct me if i am wrong
Don't worry at the rate they are issuing PERs it will be very fast. The time it took them to process the 7 -13 May Apps alone, I think within same time period they can process the rest of May or maybe more !!Leha2014 said:Are they still going through may 13 applicants for cc/dd charge or have they passed that date.God at tjiscrate I wonder when they will encash fee for june 30 applicants?

So help me guys if you can.
I am a recent immigrant to Canada, I landed on July 22nd, 2014. I am currently residing in Calgary. I am going through a job interview which requires me to go to US for 2 month training and come back to Calgary to join their Canada Team.
What Visa do I require to go to US to attend my training ? Yes you need to visa to go US.
Would attaining a B1 Visa would solve my problem? Apply for US visa but in category select B1/B2(Business/Visitor) instead of just B1. It will help you in future as well incase if you want to Visit States for entertainment. That's upto you I just gave you a suggestion. If you don't feel comfortable then just go with B1. Personally, I applied for that (B1/B2) even though I was going States for Tourism.
If not, what kind of Visa do I need to apply. I still have my final round of interview to be held but I want to be safe in case I get this opportunity.
Hope that helps.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Yes B1 visa would do, you need invitation letter from us company and apply for visa interview in us consulate in canada.gmadhwal said:I know that this is not the right discussion forum for my question, but I wasn't able to find anywhere else where I can ask my question.

No brother, a PR do need Visa to enter USA. A person with Green Card from USA doesn't need Canadian Visa to enter Canada. The rule you are talking about was changed several years ago. Canadian Citizens doesn't need visa to enter USA as Canada is Visa exempt country for USA.Century said:As far as I know Canadian dont need visa to enter USA. One big positive is with your occupation as 1114, its not going to be too late. It is as cold as Canadian winters so even September may not be too late.Amitraj1978 said:i hope so.may be i go for ielts test again.next date is 9 sept.result will be on 21 sept.its too late.who knows what will be result more or less...
but are you sure i will get 15 points for experience now(6+ years).my joining date is 03-aug-2008.
Oscar7 said:[size=9pt] Actually a PR would need a visa for USA. Not sure about Canadian citizens though. I read it somewhere on this forum itself!

If you have Marriage Certificate with you and you provided Notarized copy (true translation) and Photocopy of original, then there is no requirement of the Affidavit!! 8) 8) 8)
Lord Krishna bless us all!!
No one can predict for sure but try to apply asap. The only risk you have is of losing courier fee. My guess is you have a good chance if you apply within the next one month.zland said:guys
