guys need your honest answers...

1.., ielts test L-6.5,R-6.5,W-7,S-7 how much point should i get.CIO give me 20 points and as you all know my case rejected by 1 point.i was on 67 point.

2.. my NOC-1114,i joined in 03-aug-2008 present company.CIO give me 13 points for 5 years expereince.now today is 12 aug-14. is this i completed 6+ years expericence to claim 15 points in experience.thn my total will be 68....

only good thing is my noc-1114.till now have 5 application.may be 50 more under review in this noc.....
if i recollect all my docs and send new application again.it will cost me atleast 5,6 days to arrange.

whats your hope for points 1 and point 2.both are above mentioned.

Really shocked at Amitraj's news.

Such a mishap on CIO's side is incomprehensible, assuming that each application is checked rigorously by numerous persons.

By the way folks, is this the first case of NER e-mail then ?

Someone else this week posted about a NER e-mail. They seem unusual though.

first send new application.....then push big 1of 21 behind their a**.......

They are sitting to judge worldwide professional.....but they themselve cant even calculate numbers.......THERE ARE MANY OPTIONS TO TEACH THEM LESSON....but first send another application...and then consult with lawyer who will deal on behalf of U...

because I dnt think they will reply to mails....

[size=9pt] Well this is sad as no body wants to be rejected because of some one else's (read, CIC's) fault. If CIC has made this blunder it is indeed shameful. Have we been able to double check on the IELTS score calculation? Hard to imagine what Amitraj must be going through (though he needs to remain strong) and he should take legal help if his case is without any pitfalls.

I too didn't know that a NER e-mail gets sent, so learning something new. In what circumstances do they send NER emails? Any idea?

Couldn't find this R79(1) of IRPA, but according to the guide and the scores you shared, you do get 21 points.

Sorry for asking this, but are the scores you posted earlier in right order ? You must have calculated many times, but just to be sure, could you re-check the order.

This clearly is a mistake by CIC, and they must re-assess your case with the backdate. Contact them.

Sorry to hear your news. In my opinion they have calculated the points correctly. Your IELTS score corresponds to CLB Level 8. If you look at this link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-language.asp the point awarded for each category is 5. That means 4*5=20. Please correct me if I am wrong.
